It's a decent bot, indeed. I really like the interface!
It took me 30 minutes to set everything up, tho Lots of verifications (2fa), plus, I couldn't use 64bit Java JRE, so I had to download the 32bit one and set appropriate system variables... Once I got everything set up, it was very easy to just add a Bot to your client, and start making money

Couple of questions:

• When did RuneMate release?
• How many developers it has?
• What do you mean?
• How do you differ from other botting clients (some points would be appreciated)?

 

If by unique you mean they try to squeeze every cent out of you sure.
1$ per 100 hours per account comes down to 12 days of botting at 8h/day. Plus if I remember correctly, all the premium scripts are hourly as well.

As you said, one of a kind, extremely greedy pay model. Devs just want to make money hourly without having to run bots themselves basically.

 

I personally find an hourly pay model a great idea, it helps to remove the initial investment required as well as preventing people running scripts all day just for the hell of it.

 

Most scripts have minimal initial investment for them. If scripters don't want people running lots of accounts 24/7 on their script, they should put account limits and a reasonable monthly fee instead of offering lifetime unlimited accounts.

Based on 6 and 8h/day botting period this is what running 1 account would look like.
Monthly bot fee: $1.8 / $2.4
Premium script fee: $5.4 / $7.2 (Lowest script I could find was $0.03/h but most are $0.05 and above)

Lets compare a Barrows script with 5 accounts running 7h per day.

Tribot: 8$ VIP-E, 50$ 30-day unlimited accounts = 58$/month
Runemate: $10.5 for 1050 hours, $105 for 1050 hours of barrows script ($0.10 per hour) = $115.5/moth
OSBot: 10$ VIP, 10$ script = $20/month (Not sure if accurate. Don't know if the script has account limits as I don't use osbot)

Sure switching from upfront payment of the script might be a cool idea for some people, but for anyone actually trying to make money from botting, it's basically profit sharing. If they ever want to expand, they have to pay more to not only the scripter, but also the client dev unlike the other clients.

The only plus I would give them is they mostly support EOC. I don't bot it at all so I don't know how many bots are available for it.

How does this bot differ from powerbot and other bots?
