RsJunkie Scammer (Will not refund)

I see no reason why RsJunkie can't at least attempt to recover the account. Then if it can't be recovered a refund should be organised.

edit: Hes also been 'denied' multiple times when he has apparently tried to recover the account.

 

I will not refund 100% due to the fact that the account is locked, the password hasn't been changed, nor the e-mail he put on nor anything. The account hasn't been recovered, it was a lock put on the account by Jagex.

Anyone buying a level three with a firecape and posting pictures of it in public for thousands of users to see would know that there is a chance of something happening.

iLikenames kept making allegations and assumptions without any validation; whenever I reply back to him, he simply changes and moves on to another matter.

I am willing to refund half of the gold due to the fact that it's locked rather than recovered back. He also for posting pictures of it, showing it to sythe users who were "interested in purchasing the account" in game who might have reported it or something of that sort.

When iLikenames wanted to purchase the account, i didn't show it to him in game and didn't give him the RSN because I know it is a very sensitive account that has performed a bug to get a firecape on a level three. I also warned him and told him to take good care of it and told him why he shouldn't be very open with the account.

I have done lots of trades and never have I encountered any problem whether it's me going first or a person going first to me. This is the first time and i'm willing to work it out but not for 100% refund due to the fact that's not entirely my fault.

Would also like to point out that the user is extremely sketchy:

-He wanted to sell the account right after he bought it and he kept implying that he would like to sell it and if I was interested.
-He once PM'd me on skype saying that the account's password has changed and that I changed the password then he said that he "mistyped the password over 10 times"

Once again he makes up random stuff about the account being sensitive and what not. Jagex do not treat some accounts with higher regards than others unless it is of course a pmod account. With you claiming that the account is very sensitive and has been locked due to showing people or posting a simple picture not showing the name of the account nor the total xp or level. Now first and for most I have not shown a single person the account in game nor did I play or make it members. Second posting a simple picture will not get an account banned.

When trying to log into the account on OSRS this message appears:

Clearly stats they suspect it was stolen due to someone putting in a Ticket which caused my email to get removed. No one can fully remove an email completely off of an account except Jagex with someone filling a ticket about a hijack.

You were told to refund the full amount by a Sythe Admin :http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer/1804980-rsjunkie-scammer-will-not-refund.html on page 2 to make sure you know where it is, and if you don't want to refund the full amount you can enjoy the consequences of scamming.

My email was removed off of the account as ive already stated and therefore only person who is able to recover it or lock it is RsJunkie being the original owner.

yes I infact did mistype the password as I have a fair few accounts and this was a mistake on my part and to which I clarified and said sorry. This has no effect on the fact the account is locked due to someone recovering it.

Once again I can prove that I was indeed sold this account and I have private messages from lyf explaining that he let someone on the account who stole it and I happened to purchase it off this member. So in actual fact I was scammed and not Lyf as he took back the account that was rightfully his and Dave has already asked me about this, so by you bringing it up has 0 effect yet again on the account that you have sold me that was locked due to a recovery.

Nice attempt at whatever you are trying to do but the fact is I was scammed RsJunkie.

waiting on a sythe mod to know what is going to happen as its nearly been a week.

 

Day 8 and still have not received my refund nor has there been any action against RsJunkie.

 

Any original owner can unlock an account. Locks are put in place for account protection. Not any other reason. If it was any other reason, it would be banned not locked.

Its been 10 days, RsJunkie has stopped replying to me on skype after i messaged him while it was showing him as active. Would like to either get a refund tooday or he get perm banned if he refuses to refund.

Update: Ive messaged him for a second day on skype with no reply back even though it was showing him as online and active. Seems like hes avoiding me therefore i feel as though he should be banned unless he pays me the next time im online. Thanks

 

I've clearly been scammed by RsJunkie as hes been logging in to sythe/Skype not replying to any of my messages and yet hes not banned yet. He can either refund me back the account that he recovered or he should get banned. This is quiet sad that nothing has happened yet and its been 12 days.

 

Still not a single word.

 

2 Weeks have passed and still nothing~

 

14 days now and nothing has been done!

 

still have not received my refund and its been over 2 weeks!

 

I will have an action for you in the next day or so. Currently we are revising/coming to an agreement on how we handle these situations going forward. Sorry for the hold-up.

 

no problem but I just want something to happen so people don't think they can get away with stuff like this. by pretending to send in 'appeals' when they arnt even doing anything and leaving the acc locked till the buyer forgets about it.
