Welcome to my GDBot Killing Guide.

I make lots of profit killing GDBots, and I'm here to show you how!

So how did i do it?

Well, ever since the bot nukes the bots aren't really gone. And since i knew bots werent so clever i could take advantage of that.
The most well known bots are the green dragon bots. You see them walking everyday in their rune chain and dragon skirt, antidragon shield and whip. Since most of these bots only carry trout or lobsters as

food its pretty easy to kill them.

So i basicly started killing the green dragon bots in the chaos tunnel for their loot. This loot includes dragon bones and green dragonhides.

You might think now: but i can kill the dragons myself, why should i kill the bots for it?
The reason you are killing the bots is because they have already gathered a amount of dragon bones and dragonhide.
Once you kill them you get a average loot of 7 dragon bones and 7 dragonhides. And you only need to kill one bot for that.
It is way faster as killing the dragons yourself because now you get much more loot per kill.

Requirements

There are a few ways you can kill the green dragon bots.

Melee

Minimal stats :

70 combat
60 attack
70 strenght
1 to 40 defence (mostly 40 because i rarely see any 1 defence green dragon bots)
70 hitpoints

Recommend stats :

100+ combat
80 attack
90+ strenght
60 defence
80+ hitpoints

I myself would not recommend meleeing them because most of the times they fight back which wastes food (which isnt nessecary) and their armour tanks some of the hits, which it would take longer to kill them.

However if your melee stats are higher than your magic/range i would recommend meleeing them.

Ranging

Minimal stats:

70 Combat
40 defence
60 Range
70 hitpoints

Recommend stats:

100+ combat
80+ range
80+ hitpoints
80+ defence

Ranging is less effective as magic, but its still not a bad way to kill them. Their armour will tank some of the hits but it shouldn't be a problem to kill them.

Magic

Minimal stats:

70 combat
59 magic
40 defence
60 hitpoints

Recommend stats:

100+ combat
80+ magic (the higher the better)
80+ defence
80+ hitpoints

Magic is my favorite way of killing them. In my opinion its also the fastest way because most bots wear rune and /or dragon armour which makes hitting them with magic easy and fast.
85 magic will come very handy. 85 magic allows you to cast teleblock, a spell that stops the bots from teleporting with their ring of life or falador tablets.

How to do it

Their are a few locations where you can kill the bots.

The forinthry dungeon

You start at edgeville bank. You can either get their by walking their from varrock or teleport their with a amulet of glory (charged). Once u are at the bank you will gear up, ill explain that later. When

you are at the bank, go north.
Jump over the border and head slightly west. Once you reach the "Enter rift" you keep going north untill you see the entrance of the dungeon.

Once in the dungeon head east and you will soon see the green drags and the bots.

Gear

Note: These setups are just my recommedations, you dont have to follow them exactly.

Melee:

Magic:

Ranged:

For the reason that the whole dungeon is in the wilderniss you should risk as minimal as you can but still wear decent enough armour to get kills. These setup's gives you a decent bonus while you dont risk

alot.

Now for the inventory

The prayer potions are not always needed. If you have a high prayer level you could do without and recharge your prayer in the prayer guild, which is next to edgeville. If you are meleeing you bring a super

set (no defence potion) to increase your chance of hitting and to kill them faster. The same with range and magic, but you only need to bring one potion.

Another option when maging is using the vecna skull. The vecna skull boost your magic level by 6, which is a total increase of 18 damage (%3 damage boost per boosted level). It's effect last for 6 minutes,

and you can reuse the skull after 7 minutes to gain the +6 boost again.

The food in the inventory is to rescue yourself from pkers. Because the area is wilderniss some people choose to kill the bot killer (you). Thats where food comes in handy. It allows you to survive if you

get attacked.
Always make sure when you go to the dungeon that you have a quick-access teleport, like a teleport tab or glory (charged).
This allows you to escape from the pkers or when you've got a full inventory looted.

Profit

Now the most important part; how much can you earn with this method?

I've been killing them for roughly 2 and a half hours and this were the results:

That is roughly 350k a hour.
However, these were my results and can vary alot because of the different between the stats. I myself used the PolyPore staff to kill them, because the spell only cost 200 GP a cast. However if you use SoA

or the surge spell you can kill them even quicker.

What im trying to say is, the higher the stats the faster you kill them.

Tips

Tip 1 Always try to keep a balance between good enough bonus and the amount of Gp's you are risking. Make sure you have enough bonuses to kill them quickly but dont risk too much.

Tip 2 Always check if your glory is charged before you go to the dungeon. If it isnt charged you might need to run back. This can be solved by bringing a teleport tablet but with a glory you can teleport

right back to edgeville, where you can bank your loot and run back to the dungeon.

Tip 3 I had to switch worlds alot, so if you are in a world where their are no bots left, or bots who just came in the dungeon (which you dont kill because they havnen't killed any dragons yet), it is

advised to switch world.

Tip 4 Do not go into a world with 1000+ players, because most of the times their are pkers at the green dragons which will try to kill you.

Tip 5 When you are getting attacked by pkers stay calm and teleport away. If you panic you might die.

Tip 6 When maging or meleeing, its usefull to bring teleblock and/or your best binding spell (entangle, snare, bind). The reason being is because some of the bots are wearing a ring of life, which would

teleport them away when they are at low health. So to prevent this you can teleblock them.
