RSEvolution is Hiring a GFX Designer!

    Thanks for clicking! I'm hiring!

First and foremost, I am hiring another graphics designer to work along side me and help get graphics out to Sythe as requested by many users. First, let me tell you a little bit about me, and what I want to do with my graphics.

    About Me
I don't have a lot of free time with my full time job taking up much of my day. I'm usually only on at the very late hours of the night. My graphics, as you've seen, are very simple, plain, and clean looking. You'll never really see me throwing graphics out with too many things that clutter up the signature, or thread layout. When I make graphics, I love really clean edges and subtle, yet bright, lighting. I'm still not anywhere near my peak, but by doing these graphics, I hope to learn something new everyday! Working with me, we'll both learn along the way, and make some side money doing it! I think of graphics as a way to spruce up a thread layout, or a signature space, and really get your message out there. Making 3D graphics is huge right now in the Sythe community, and doing them is fun! I have a feeling that graphics today will go in a different direction soon, and when that happens, we'll be the first to know, and go.

    What We'll Be Doing

You might ask yourself what we'd be doing. Well, I'm currently setting up a Google Drive for my graphics. This will be the headquarters of our design center. When we're creating graphics, we'll be uploading everything that we use to this database. This will allow us to share, change, and revise all graphics before we give them to our consumers.

This is a job that you can do in your spare time! We will get orders all of the time, and you can take an order anytime! I'm assuming we might be on different schedules, so it'd be your responsibility to take orders when you have the chance!

Collaboration is key. When we're doing graphics, I want to communicate the entire way through it, if we have the chance! Like I said before, I'm still learning, and I want to learn more! If the person I decide to hire is even of less experience than me, they still might find something cool to share that I can use on a daily basis! A customer also loves frequent updates on their graphics, so communication with your customer is also a huge plus! Sending them updates every once in a while with what it's looking like can make them more anxious, or save you from making a mistake by adding something that they don't like! I utilize this for almost every graphic that I produce, and have yet to get a bad order!

We've got a lot of orders to fill, from many places! I've gotten orders from many different sites, not just Sythe. I'm looking to hire 1 individual that also wants to learn and make graphics in their spare time to help fill out the orders that we'd receive.

    A Graphics Business?

Actually, I don't want this to turn into a "business" per say. Yes, we'd be making money, but I want to feel like I'm creating graphics with another smart, open minded individual as friends instead of business partners. I'm an extremely easy going guy, that just loves doing graphics in my spare time. I hope to find someone else that wants to learn and loves doing it, too!

    What's Required?

    -Cinema 4D R13+
    -Photoshop CS6+
    -Voice Interview
    -Fluent English Speaking
    -150+ Sythe Posts
-A PayPal Account (verified a plus)
-A Google Account to view the Google Drive

Other than having the programs, and speaking english, there's not much else that is required! As long as you have the drive, and willingness to learn, I can teach you what I know and we can learn together. A strong background of computer knowledge is also recommended.

    What's Recommended?

Know how to use Splines, Nurbs, MoText and creating materials is recommended.

Animation within Cinema 4D is a big recommendation that I am adding. This is due to the high demand for animated avatars. This also includes the exporting, saving, and importing of animations into Photoshop for later editing.
Knowing how layers function. There are many ways that you can make a graphic more appealing. Using layers to your advantage is a great way to do so. It's a non-destructive way to add "flare" to your graphics without harming what you've got so far.

Animating graphics with flashes is a huge thing on Sythe at the moment as well. Knowing how to animate is a plus, but is not required, because it can be easily taught.

Slicing images is a huge plus. This seems to be a pretty confusing thing to do among other things when making graphics. This can be taught very easily, so it's not too big of a deal.

Saving graphics isn't necessarily required knowledge, as it's a very simple lesson, but knowing how to do so is a time saver!

    How Will I Get Paid?

This is NOT an hourly job! Whatever graphics you do, you will get paid for! We will be working along side each other in our spare time! Using a two-in-one shop gets both of us out there on the market as a team. If we work on graphics together, we will decide how to split up the payment!

All graphics that are made will first go through me before being published, and the same goes the other way around! All payments for graphics will be paid to me, and will be paid to you depending on the amount of graphics you do. Don't worry, I will never pay out less than what someone paid for the graphic, unless a decided percentage is agreed upon for each cut if we both worked on the graphic. I eventually want to get to the point of one of us doing Cinema 4D, and the other doing Photoshop work. Although the work load isn't even, the pay would be 50/50, or whatever amount is agreed upon.

    Donations

From month to month, I will decide to do a donation to a charity, as I did last month to the National Breast Cancer Foundation. If I decide to do this, you must retain whatever % amount that I decide of your orders for the charity that we'll be donating to. It's a good way to give back to a community, from the Sythe community. Donations might be once every two or three months, and will usually be around 10-15% of the profits that we'd make. Nothing too big compared to each order that we'd take, but it'd add up quickly to help out a charity. Proof of the donations will always be supplied, usually by the end of the proceeding month.

    How Do I Apply?

It's easy to apply, just PM this form to me! It's an extremely simple application that won't take too much time at all. I will review all applications carefully, and be doing voice "interviews" with all applicants! Thanks!

    Other Notes:

This might all seem like a lot to know or learn, but let me reassure you that it's not. If you have an eye for aesthetics, you CAN learn how to do this. Thanks for taking your time to view my thread! I hope that you've applied!
