I talked to Kaitnieks on MSN back when he had his MSN released publicly for help with AutoRune/SCAR. He was a good guy to talk to, also pretty intimidating as he was a smart motherfucker.

Another guy who was involved in that by the name of Dylock had a SCAR website up too. Haven't talked to Steve in years, though. I didn't really like him because he was too religious. (lol) Aside from those 2 guys I didn't really associate with any cheaters/bot programmers, because I was 11 years old and idolized the big guys in cheating. Wish I could talk to Kait again, I really looked up to him as a kid.. He's probably working for some computer company now.

EDIT: And to people who are saying hats were 800K in November 2003 - they were like 2.5(Red)-11(Pink) at that point. Pink was the only hat that really suffered that day. Blue rose shortly after to become the most expensive.



If you're wondering why I own/have his account. He gave it to me several years after it was banned, because I was curious what offences it had. (Both appeals for the bug abuse ban were used up by me. Unfortunately, both were denied)

I'm pretty sure his account wasn't banned in 2006, but it's funny that they wrote manual permanent ban, makes me wonder if there are automatic ones.

He wasn't banned in 2006. June 5th, 2006 is when they updated the offence system and it adjusted older bans to that date (June 5th, 2006)

Kait was banned in 2002.

 

Honestly I wonder what the person got who reported it first lol.
