RSClassic's Great Dupe

I think xx jut xx is lying about his great dupe. i have a version of rsc (its an rsc client) from before then, so ill see

 

6-6-06 WAS a Glitch, but the Phat dupe was a hack as they sent false info to the server through AutoRune

 

Me and my mate back in the day did this also only making them for ourselves though. Along with years earlyer money cheat being able to add take numbers away without players knowing until 2nd trade sceen. example bought r2hs 50000 got them for 5000 and always added an item of vaule there or pay that little bit extra to make them expet quicker. It was good times r.i.p i love this game and now play rsca

There were way more than hundreds duped... There were thousands.. I personally know 4 people that participated in the dupe, including my self. We ran bots for almost two days before jagex caught onto it. Each of us ran more than one bot to accomplish this, resulting in thousands of party hats being duped... Most of the accounts got banned, though a few mule accounts may exist to this day. The bots would trade each other, and put up '0' of the designated hat enough times to fill the trade window, accept, and do so untill the inventory was filled with hats, which would then be deposited in the bank. The first person to know about the dupe, after 6fu, was sorrow; 6fu's IRL mate. He was part of the ichooseyou crew, who was ran and maintained by g0ne.



FACT: Items were being duped months before jagex found out. It was only when the exploit got released publicly that jagex found out.

 

why is no hacker hacking runescape lol, if they can hack the pentagon they surely can hack runescape...

who knows maybe some mighty dude might find another way to truly dupe again...

The dupe was in 2003.

I remember that day. I was a noob int he crowd yelling crack me crack me...i think i scored two or three hats that day
