It seems to be offline a lot lately. Are they working on the server or something?

 

Problems with the host/server.

 

Today RSCEmulation is one year old. To celebrate we're hosting a drop party in 8 hours (roughly 12am GMT). Once you're logged into RSCEmulation type ::TIME and you can see the current RSCEmulation Game Time. The drop will start at 3pm.

 

Hi guys,

Few little changes tonight:

1. Runecrafting XP is now twice as fast
2. Fixed a bug with fatigue where it was possible to get over 100 fatigue
3. Runecrafting now gives 1 fatigue per essence (0.5 for subscribers)
4. ::VOTE and other site launching commands should now work on non-Windows OS's
5. New dynamic login screen
6. Webclient (still in BETA)
7. Runecrafting is now added to your Skill Total
8. Draynor portal has been replaced with a Falador portal
9. Using portals now take 1,000gp instead of 2,500gp
10. Portals now attempt to take GP from your inventory first and if you have none in your inventory it attempts to take from your bank
11. Improved security for staff accounts

I decided to work on a lottery system tonight which allows players to buy tickets and then the pot is given to a random person when the lottery is stopped. Each entry has a quarter of it's value deducted by the server which helps remove GP from the game. For example, if a ticket costs 10,000 GP when you buy it 7,500 GP will be added to the pot and 2,500 GP will be deducted by the server.

It's in early stages right now and can be improved a lot but it works and that's all that matters really.

When a lottery is running you simply type ::LOTTERY to enter and it takes the GP from your inventory. Anyone can enter as many times as they want, I may limit this in the future but without multiple entries per person the pot would be a lot smaller.

Damn, I played this around a year ago and it's great to see it still going.

My account is being trained now on RS2 so I'm definitely going to check it out again

i havnt tried a rsc private server lookin forward to it!

 

It's a lot of fun if you enjoyed RSC back in the day.

 

Currently double XP for a week. It's the perfect time to come and give us a try.

 

Perfect time to catch up with players that have already had a head start.

 

By far this is the best RSC server. It replicates it really closely. I don't really play RS or any private servers anymore but I like to pop in every once in a while. If I had to recommend an RSC server this would be the one.
