[When] will I get unbanned?

Hi,
I got permanently banned about 2 weeks ago, for the dragon bolt glitch
that went around. I made 100Mill off it, and after I made that I had
1.4billion total on my account.

Will Jagex ever let the ban up within 1-2 years?
I know that some people got banned for RWT
and macroing got unbanned after a while.

You think I'll eventually get unbanned?

 

Permanently banned means Permanently banned.

 

I know many people who've been unbanned from a PERMANENT ban.
They undo them after a while.

 

They did it once to give everyone a last chance. I don't think they are doing it again.

 

That is false. I have had accounts that were "Permanently Banned" but I come back a few weeks later to see that I'm on a LAST CHANCE.

I think it's rare to be honest, but it may happen. I wouldn't get your hopes up though, I wouldn't guarantee it.

 

I'm not talking a few weeks in the future. I'm thinking years.

And if that is the case gohan I think they will do it again.

I don't know if they gave all of those players another chance
why wouldn't they give other players that same opportunity.

 

Was your acc made after that update?

 

I duped on 3 accounts and my 109 with 450M was banned so I can relate.

As much as I'd like to tell you the ban will be lifted in the future, it won't happen. Jagex takes bug abuse seriously, the account will remain banned indefinitely.

 

I don't know about that to be honest. Think about how seriously Jagex took RWT a few years back, and they still unbanned people for it.

 

They tend to unban alot of people after a new skill is released.

 

RWT has always been a more flexible subject than bug abuse

The main reason is because of the amount of people that actually commit each offense. I'm positive at least 100x more people delved into RWT as opposed to abused a glitch in game.

Just think back to a similar bug that happened a long time ago, the pink partyhat glitch in RSC. Mainly everyone who participated in it was banned (there were a few lucky ones who weren't caught), and I'm sure none of them have been unbanned since. Same thing holds true with this glitch. I lucked out and wasn't banned on 2 accounts, it happens.

Basically what Farcast said. Your only hope is that they decide to unban a mass amount of accounts again like when they updated the ban system. Even then, your chances are slim. Best of luck to you.

 

I got banned on a acc in 06 and they took it off highscores, it's currently locked haven't bothered trying to unlock I randomly searched name yesterday in highscores and it showed the stats.. If I was to unlock it do you think it will be unbanned? Did they mass unbann people awhile back for RWT? as that's what it was banned for..
