Alot of argueing, I think Scar on sythe should be replaced with Rsbot, there's a poll to settle it, let the voting begin.

scar is outdated not a lot of scrips of good, i havent used in a while, this is wut i am hereing

when i used scar like a a few months ago, the max time i autoed is like 3 hours (with some help from me)

but rsbot is extremely good and u can auto for a long time, like 10 hours or so, but its sythes decision for which one to choose

I'v personal never used SCAR, but from what i hear.. i'd still prefer RSbot

Im really going with sythe replacing to rsbot, im strong for it, and itll be worth it for sythe, all the scripts of scar in sythe are bs.

rsbot deffintially sounds better i never was much of an autoer but iv tried scar really was never that good

SCAR/SRL is better, period. It'll blow RSBot outta the water in a few weeks, when reflection will have been with it for a few months.

Those of you who disagree, read my posts in this thread - http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=447435

And this thread - http://www.sythe.org/showthread.php?t=446734

Many of you say 'I've used SCAR and it wasn't that good'. If you haven't used it in the past 2 weeks (with a well made reflection script, not that many yet, that's why I said in a few weeks it'll be better), you have no idea what it's capable of.

Those of you who don't believe me, go try out SRL in 30 days, make sure you're using it right, THEN tell me which is better. Or you can go right now, problem is, there's only like 5 good reflection scripts since SRL scripters have just started to get a hand on reflection.

Never seen or used either, but in my opinion the measure of how good a bot is - is how realistic it is, and what do you have to show for it? Not how it's made.

How a bot is made describes how efficient it is, like color clicking vs. reflection. - and that's what most people look for, though anti-ban and random solving is a plus.

If you guys say something is better than another thing, atleast say WHY. How can prove to you SRL is better if you don't say why you think RSBot is better than SRL? :p

EDIT:

Here's my post on another thread that pretty much sums it up

SCAR/SRL is becoming the best, and will be the best by far in a few weeks. Recently, reflection has been made to work with SMART (Scar Minimizing Autoing Resource Thing), making it just as good as any other reflection bot. Only two things that will change in the next few weeks -

1) Reflection for SMART is still in its BETA stages
2) There aren't many scripts using reflection yet

So now, SCAR/SRL is both a color and reflection bot/macro. Colors don't break (unless, of course, Jagex changes the colors of stuff, which happens really rarely), whereas reflection breaks often (As far as I know), and has to be fixed.

Color

- Not that efficient
+ Rarely breaks

Reflection

+ Very efficient
- Breaks often

Color + Reflection

++ Extremely efficient (if reflection fails, color does what reflection failed to do)
++ Very rarely breaks

SMART is basically RSBot's client, without all of the ID debugging (which will probably be added to SRL eventually) + the FPS bar (RSBot has a Use Less CPU option, but the FPS bar lets you set exactly how much you want). There may be some other features RSBot's client has, I haven't used it much (Please inform me if there is). And SRL has multi-player (like you can have a player go for 10 mins, then switch to another, and then another, and then start all over again). I've heard RSBot will be getting that feature soon though.

'Nuff said ;)

By the way, just so you know when you go to try out SRL, the 'Free For All' scripts aren't that great. What you need to do is make 10 posts (Non-spam) and be registered for atleast 7-8 days, then you'll have access to the better scripts. Another great thing about SRL is that there are less leechers and more people who actually want to learn something.

SCAR is by far not out of date. It's updated for every RS update that requires an updates, along with improvement updates. There are quite a Registered Member scripts for SCAR, but the even better ones are for SRL Accepted Members ;).

RSBot is ALSO updated automatically and ALSO detects reflection.

Updated automatically... OK, you got me there, but is it really that hard to click File > Update SRL SvN? :\

Detects reflection? You mean with the IDs on the client and stuff? That is currently being developed for SRL (It works if you go get it from the Reflection Developing section on SRL Forums, but it still has a few bugs).

2, maybe 3 (Someobdy mentioned RSBot's BCEL thing for account management) minor things RSBots has over SRL. Whereas SRL has a minor thing or two of its own + having the major advantage of also using color.

Also has all sorts of anti-ban and anti-randoms, half the scripts for scar dont even work whereas rsbot 70% of them work

RSBot is new, it has not undergone any major changes yet, so of course most of the scripts work - why wouldn't they?

SRL isn't all that new, and has undergone many major changes. I bet you there's a total of more working SRL Scripts than RSBot scripts, even if the percentage is lower.

SCAR has better anti-ban and anti-randoms just as good. SRL can solve all randoms except for 2-3 (Evil Bob's prison, Quizmaster is unstable...and one more I forget) - Evil Bob will probably be solved within the next month or so, since reflection makes it pretty easy (I think all the balloons have different IDs right?), and Quizmaster just needs some small bugs fixed. Antiban is better because it's easy for the scripter to choose the best places for anti-ban, and the best kind for that specific situation. Whereas, in RSBot, you do something like run 2 scripts simultaneously? AND (a major advantage for SRL I forgot to mention) SRL has multi-player. Running a char until you stop it yourself with RSBot will get you banned really quickly, on most scripts I tried you couldn't even get it to stop after a certain amount of loads. Multi-player makes it easy - you can even use one player if you want, any half decent script will let you specify how long you want it to run.

And I remember, when using RSBot, 'args' were annoying. You have to keep checking back and forth with what the author said the args were supposed to be, whereas in SRL there stuff like

loads = 5; //Specify the amount of loads you'd like to do
ore = 'iron'; //Specify the ore you'd like to mine, iron, copper, or tin

Making it really simple.

Table of pro's and con's of RSBot

Pro's

Updates when you start it
BCEL character management
Shows you the IDs of things on the client

(NOTICE: All pretty minor advantages)

Con's

No multiplayer
Uses only reflection - needs updating often
A hassle to get running with the Java and stuff

SRL Table of Pro's and Con's

Pro's

Multiplayer
Better Anti-Ban
A combination of Reflection and color clicking - Rarely breaks
FPS Bar on SMART

Con's

You have to make 2 clicks to update (doesn't update automatically)
Can't see IDs of things on the client (will probably be added in the next few weeks)

(NOTICE: extremely minor)

EDIT: Just noticed you said 'All of the scripts on Sythe don't work for SCAR'. Take the time to become a Jr. Member on SRL-Forums and you'll find more than enough scripts to suit your needs if you haven't yet. If the sections for SCAR were replaced with RSBot, I doubt the RSBot scripts there would be any more effective. Sythe.org really just isn't for programs like SCAR, RSBot, or Nexus.

Not necessarily, to find a color on the screen is an operation that takes barely a fraction of a second if written properly, there should not ever be any visible slow down. Some people are saying RSBot runs for about 10 hours using reflection, people here who've used my bot (which works solely by reading the computer screen) know it is capable of running 24 hours a day on a smooth internet connection.
I've never seen anyone from RSBot or SCAR actually show anything that impressed me in terms of mouse-movement, or how much XP and gold they earned. I do know two of the three RSBot developers spent a few days/weeks trying to crack my bot.
A human player doesn't need reflection to operate efficiently and neither does a bot, provided it's programmed well enough. Sure it's more difficult to do a lot of things with color, but it can be done. But for a free bot, for ease of writing scripts, I can see the appeal of using reflection rather than advanced screen reading algorithms and AI.
