RsBot Hacked - clarification

If you try to access the RsBot website (http://208.122.30.121/) you will find yourself with a youtube hosed 'Family Guy' video and an email address ([email protected]).

Yes, rsbot has been hacked. DO NOT post about Speljohan stealing your runscape account passwords! The bot DOES NOT host any account information on ANY SERVER! All account information is stored witin the settings folder of your Rsbot.


CURRENT STATUS: Offline
If you get the database error, all you can do is try again later and hope for the best... sorry. This problem will correct itself as traffic dies down a little.

First time i went to it it said that there was a server overload, then a few seconds ago it just said 'We'll be back soon', whats going on? I really wanna try this out!

I can confirm that the hackers are from rsexploits.

umm i think they recovered it cuz when i went right now it said "It will be back soon" dont think its hacked anymore.. or mayb the hackers put that up...idk

That message was most probabaly put there by the hacker so as to try and distract people from the site. If we had control over the site, it would be up and running like normal.

The databases should have been backed up so it would just be a simple job of re uploading the files onto the server.

Yes. Unfortunately the staff of RSBot now is using a crappier forum than they were using. FluxBB is a bad forum. They should get vBulletin.
