Q. What is RSBot?

A. RSBot is possibly the best bot for runescape.
Jethr0x says: It is a decent bot, with a lot of flaws, has some potential. Unlike SCAR, which uses Item ID's and Color, RSBot only uses ID's, so It will click on a NPC or Item, even if it is not visible on the screen.

Q. Is it safe?

A. Yes it is 100% virus free, however I can no guarantee you won't get banned.

Q. I have a mac/ run linux, will this work for me?

A. Yes, RSBot is written in java, so it is platform independent.

Q. Does RSBot have a website or forum?

A. Yes, they do www.rsbot.org, however it is frequently down, and sythe is cooler

Q. Where can I download RSBot?

A. A few places.

Q. How do I install scripts?

A. Download the script and open up your rsbot folder. Place the script into the script subfolder, and in the bot hit compiler-> compile all.

Q. RSBot gets stuck at "connecting to update server" How do I fix this?

A. This means your bot is either out dated (usually happens whenever a runescape updates) or you are not connected to the internet. In the log box at the bottom it should say your bot is outdated.

Q. What do I do if my bot is outdated?

A. Go and re-download, an update should be up within a few hours of the runescape update.

Q. Is it possible to have the bot input my bank pin?

A. Yes, however it does slow it down a bit (the time it takes to enter the pin) To input a pin go to Settings-> Account manager and you should see a button that says "add key" In the text box text to it type in "pin" - no quotes, and hit add key. Know on the right double click the value pin under the value column, and input your bank pin

I am very impressed just one thing can you still internally update rsbot or is redownloading the new version the only option, the only reason im asking is because rsbot.org is always down and i can't getthe current download lnk.

 

As far as i know, you can't.

however you can use the rapidshare link. it isn't linked to a specific file, its linked to a user account or something, basically it just will have the updated file always at that link.

Well maybe there is a way to update internally. The only reason you need to update, is to update where jagex stores there cache. If you figure out how to update the cache yourself you would be able to auto update (i will look into it and maybe make a guide if its simple enough)

You would need to make an updater and add the BCEL hooks yourself. Unless you're good with that kind of stuff, then leave it to the pro's (Qauters).

 

i usually do just leave it to the pros . i have however heard a few people saying they are able to do it themselves. Witch wouldn't be to bad to learn

 

Decent faqs list i must say i think you covered pretty much everything.

 

this is good for noobs...but rsbot isent really safe anymore...

Should be "Now on the right double click".
