RS3 gold price crash

I have seen RS3 gold price has crashed about a week ago. I think it's because of the introduction of GE and possibly f2p to Oldschool Runescape, but I'd like to hear your opinion too ^_^ .

 

I think its GE, F2P and soon to come 07 bonds.

 

Rs3 is undoubtedly getting affected by Rs07.

 

Player base is approaching cero

 

I've hated the live game ever since eoc/rs3. Mostly MTX and devaluing skills, but also other things. The rs3 interface and combat system, and the fact that if you use legacy mode you get penalized with worse xp. Etc.

I couldn't get into 07 because there was no GE and I found it incredibly frustrating to sit for hours trying to just gear up. Since the GE was released I've sold my rs3 account and started playing seriously. I think it'll be awkward for Jagex once 07 outnumbers the live game 2:1

 

Maybe because the ugly new skillcapes in rs3,the p2p and the incoming bond in old school.lol

 

The price has dipped to this low a couple times I think then gone back up. Any1 think that theres a chance it'll still go up again esp during summer? I wouldn't bet against it.

 

I agree with what everyone else is saying... I believe that the Grand Exchange dropped the $/m for the RS3 Community while raising the $/m in the 07 community.

 

Predictable trend, but I believe myself like most of the veterans here do not like EOC.

Planning to sell off my Main since I'm rarely on it anymore except to trade, no point getting it banned due to RWT

 

Hopefully it crash more!

 

Too much money in the game, being relatively inferior to oldschool in terms of gp demand, and bonds won't help it's case either.

 

As a RS3 player, I agree that OSRS will overtake RS3 in player numbers . I have never really agreed with everything that comes to the table in RS3, but Jagex should have just left 2007 at it's original state before it essentially just becomes RS3 with crappier graphics. But with cheaper gold prices, is it to say that more gold is coming into the game at a faster rate; if so, why? Or would it be because more players are selling their gold all at once?

 

I actually like the fact that they're still working on it, it doesn't get boring
that way and the updates for 07 really aren't that bad (compared to RS3)

Too much money and too less players ingame.
Also: the price of armour drops alot due to many items and less demand
(e.g. AGS = 1,5m in RS3)..

 

Probably due to the release of 07 GE, gold price has always varied a lot and its hard to predict what happens next. Expecting a little rise for summer but price depens on so many factors that I may be wrong. (Updates, players, bots, gold farmers etc.)

 

i think most people are enjoying 07 mechanics and especially the new updates that makes everything much easier to attain

 

Once Robotzindisguise comes back with genesis RS3 gold will drop more

Yeah I'm really getting tired of waiting as well, I stopped going to their site for months and then thought to myself what the hell they must be done with it now, to just be like you've got to be kidding me.

 

Its just like when godwars was released, 07 had a temp burst/increase in price as everyone wanted to play 07 due to the updates, and that caused rs3 prices to drop, the same is happening now, and I bet it'll eventually even back out.
