Part 1:​

You will be cutting Logs. (Normal tree)

To start off with, you will need ANY axe. To see what I deem as preferrable,
scroll down to the yellow part of the guide.

Now please bear in mind that this is not going to be one of those pointless guides, however this is one of the decent ways to make money, spending as less money as possible. But I have been doing some research on prices, etc, ways to make money, looking for ways myself aswell as searching for ways, and to be honest, the seriously good ways to make money people don't tend to exploit as the more people who do it, the less profitable those ways become to make money. So I decided to write one based off what I have experienced on finding ways on RS myself to make money and it's something that people would normally think would make no money whatsoever.

Okay so first of all which I will attach to the places section is a price list so that you have a better idea on where is the best to cut for your own self decisions from my suggestions I will list down below.

So these are the best places I can think of off of the top of my head on where would be best to cut the trees, based on areas not far from/near the banks. This is reason why I listed "patients" as a requirements as it's not going to be a guide as if you were to stand in front of a grand exchange clerk flipping all day.

Price List: (as of 24th November 2013 @ 18:03pm Great Britain Time)

• Amount per 1000 sold: 319,000gp

Now that may seem @#!*% to you. But if you think about it, Logs aren't hard to cut at all. Thus the fact, people are constantly buying them because it's not as if they give you more than one unless you have an Inferno Adze (I think) so people can't be arsed running around cutting them. The prices for them have gone up quite a bit I have noticed in the past year, and people are getting LAZIER in terms of skilling/making money with the bots out and about the rising level of people using them. (Incidentally, people are being banned).

You don't have to read this but I will elaborate further; if you think about it, people botting and being lazy to do hard work on RS causes them to buy almost everything that they want/need. So people won't usually be cutting logs which gives you the option to cut any @#!*% Normal tree you want to. People who are cutting Logs quickly move on once reaching level 15-25 to cut Oaks. So that isn't a worry. Don't bother cut oaks because they aren't even selling for as half as Logs are as they are selling currently at 134gp per. Willows are constantly fluctuating on when you will sell, therefore if you waste your time cutting 1000+ of those you could be waiting forever to sell all of them (based from experience). Yews take forever to get one log even at 76 wc, so it's a slow process.

Logs however, quick to cut based off your level (minimum I'd say is 30 to get a log almost instantly, just a brief guess) and they are always selling, the profit may not be MUCH but the profit comes in QUICK and sometimes it's better to earn a little LESS than usual to make profit come in QUICKER than usual, which effectively, will make you feel like your making loads.

Part 3:

This part is not necessarily to educate you how to sell, but to advise you on selling the Logs.

If I were you, sell in bulk. You can get a backpack of logs within 2-3 mins maxmimum if you continuously jump to the next tree. I guarantee that if you put your time and effort into this and did this for most of the day, you'd probably make a 1M a day or more which would be 3000 logs which you could get EASILY within a day.

One of my suggestions to do this method would be to bot it but I am not promoting it in a sense to say "yeah, do it like this" as the botting clients are still detectable up until one of them comes out with an update which makes them undetectable for the ban rates to reduce hugely. Apparently Crapex are clocking on quite a lot to bots now simply from reading what client they are using, I'm not going to go into this thoroughly as it is not necessary to this guide.

However, botting it would be a massive time saver. Don't forget, this is a F2P guide, and it really is a decent and quick way to make money. So give it a go at least. I wouldn't bother waste my time writing up this guide if I never for a second thought it wasn't worth it. Some of you may think it is not worth it, some of you may think it is.

Don't sell per back pack. Sell in 100's if you do not want to in thousands. As I am not member simply because I can't afford to waste money on RS3 right now, I am using this method as some others to make my gp. But I'm not bumming off RS3 as if I were, I'd be making 10m a week (not solely from this method, however this one would be a huge part in it) so in my opinion, yeah it's worth it. I'm writing this guide to help you F2P players out because the money is @#!*% unless you have insanely high skills which take FOREVER especially with the bots not worth using at the moment.

Fluctuate the prices in which you sell. If you cut a 1000, put on +5% per log, as it makes quite a difference on how much money you get back, plus players get into a habit of clicking +5% when buying an item so they get it asap. If the logs start to not sell, decrease by -5%, you are not losing anything as you have cut them.

Part 4:

Okay so here are some tips:

• Have a WC level over 35 at least I'd say, which is super easy to get, if you put in the effort.
• Always use the best hatchet you can. Because my wc on my main is 60, I am using a rune hatchet.
• Never sell per backpack. Your wasting that time on selling via per back pack which in turn could be used to cut more logs. Continuously cut, and cut, and cut.
• On the world selection lobby, and under players, click on the arrow facing down. It will then bring up to the top the worlds with the least players on. The less players, the more logs.
• Log onto a trade world such as 1, and 3. 1 is Members, 3 is Free-play.
• If you have 60 wc and 92 fm, use the Inferno Adze. Use any other tools also that can benefit you on terms of XP, and the amount of logs received, especially if your low level, such as a woodcutting pendant. Whether it's for XP or money purposes, the higher the level, the quicker you cut.
• Try and cut in the suggested areas where there is hardly anyone around. Don't worry too much about the availability of the logs as they are the fastest trees to spawn back, thus the fact bots focus on Oak+ as well as other genuine players.
• Put in time and effort. I can guarantee you'll be satisfied. Especially if you can't afford or really don't want to spend money on buying GP.

Part 5

Worlds:​

• Any Trade World/Popular world such as 1, 2, 3, Minigame worlds, to sell.
• Worlds with less players (tends to be in the 60's-80's) in order to cut and bank.
