AFK Thieving/Fishing

I haven't played RS in a long time, is there any way in RS3 to afk train Thieving or Fishing at a decent rate, or any daily/weekly activity that gives a large amount of exp in either?

 

Before I left the best fishing exp was a a method while in dungeoneering.

I'd reccomend looking for up to date guides as rs3 seems to change daily.

 

Afk-ability is more of a priority than exp rate, C2 fishing is good exp but it requires too much effort.

 

Ive heard you can AFK thieving in the new elf city, not sure how much xp it is per hour though.

 

Thieving: Pickpocket in Elf city.
Fishing: Rocktails or barbarian fishing. Barbarian fishing is nowhere close to being as afk as rocktails but the xp/hour is way better. I'd say it takes no effort rather than calling it afk seeing how you have to empty your inventory quite often.

From what I've heard, barbarian fish got drop as a left click option meaning that you can easily empty your inventory with the ability bar key binds.

 

In terms of being afk, rocktails for fishing would be best.

Pickpocketing elves in the new elf city is the definition of afk, but you need 91 Thieving at minimum to begin pickpocketing them.
