Rs3 boring?

I am new to this website and don't know if this is the right place but I began a new runescape account and the game is really boring. Just the same thing over and over again...

 

Well to be honest it is not that boring as the contents are just really HUGE... It will create addiction in achieving levels and discovering new weapons - armors as you level up..

Since you have posted in this forums plenty of people will agree with u that RS3 is boring and at some times, i agree with you as well. However when I reconsider the contents this game has, from skilling to questing, dueling and staking, pking or doing minigames the content is just toooooo much to say that this game is boring

 

you're right they do have all the contents but they don't have the large playerbase as they used to. I didnt always quest and skill because I considered that the boring part ofthe game, I used my quests and skills as an advantage to do other things such as PK. Since Wildy is deas in RS3, there really isn't a point of doing those quests and training unless you want to PVM

 

The one unfortunate thing of RS3 being boring is if you ever decide to take skilling seriously, it's a lot of daily tasks. Like to the point where its 2 hours of dailies to be the most efficient.

 

It's fun when everyone plays legit and competing. Before, bots weren't as rampant as they are now so the game feels like playing with bots than actual players. That's how I feel at least.

I personally enjoy the game after a break of 4 years. Currently working on getting quests/skills to 99/Tasks done which is fun to me

 

If you're like most people then you remember the past years when it was more active. PvE will never die out, but PvP was a large aspect of the game. It's just a convoluted fucking mess now with CW/SW/CLW. I'd include the wild, but it's virtually 100% dead aside from W2 one-itemers and raggers and WB's which isn't even technically PvP it's more of "lets mass up and hit and run and then skilling supplies while pretending this is PvP," might as well be reclassified as "lets play dress-up."

All in all, the game is enjoyable if you prefer PvE. I liked PvP more so it's boring to me, and i'm now trying to force myself to enjoy PvE more. Quests also, I despise quests...

 

For those who enjoy bossing and the new combat system, RS3 is ideally really. But they're catering to an old player base, not a new one, which is what they need if the game is to continue.

 

I just find it boring doing the same thing over and over and over again for hours. I just really want to have a partyhat and rare items. It's not that fun to me. It's more of a thing I play when I'm bored and don't want to play counter strike.

But yeah, Rs3 sucks balls now, if you want to restart tho you can always join oldschool rs.

 

You can always try oldschool if you feel rs3 boring.

 

Just try out oldschool I quitted playing when it was EOC and now 07 is awesome.

 

RS3 isn't what it used to be. The pking on it is completely different, but still provides fun for some. I personally like to skill, dh pk, and pvm. Just what I like to do, everyone is different though =)

 

Been playing this game for almost 11 years now and it's still not boring. Not saying I've never gotten bored and taken a break but I always come back in the end. RS and D2LoD were the first two mmorpgs I ever played and will always hold a special place in my heart.

 

I honestly just play the game to relax, I don't really find it extremely fun, it's a lot of AFKing and economy. It takes a while to get fun, you gotta find your playstyle.

 

Honestly as much as I make fun of the game, I actually don't mind playing Runescape 3. Old school is better but Runescape 3 is actually not b ad.

 

Still don't know if I should buy an account and give it a serious try or not :\?

 

The best way to make RS3 less boring is to make longterm (but attainable) goals (like gaining access to Priff), and then setting many short term goals for yourself to accomplish along the way. You'll feel really good about yourself as you nail down the tasks one by one, and it keeps the game interesting since you have constantly changing targets.

They recently released Raids so hopefully that will change
