RS2007 Not That Exciting Anymore?

You log-in with the same account name and password but start as a level 3 from scratch.

 

I'm back to EoC already.

 

I'm gonna enjoy the ride actually, there should be no rush to be the best, that wasn't what old RS was like, you didn't quite know what to do. I work full time and I have other priorities, but when I have nothing to do I'll pop on and play, doesn't matter if I'm the best.

 

Yeah I wasted away my day, hit 31 combat and now I'm running my bots on eoc. I love 07scape much better than eoc, but it'll be funner once more gold and what not comes into the game.

 

I mean what did you expect its gunna be like your child hood again come on we knew that i loved the fact its been instated but i will just go on from time to time to enjoy the old memory nd pk/stake mabe from time to time.

 

Still exciting to me, will keep enjoying this for a while!

 

It will get more fun once more people get past that initial grind to farm materials and cash starts to circulate. Just be patient.

If you're a member in EoC-RS, and vote in the poll for 07, you get the trial until March 1st and also the first month free in RS2007 (until March 31st).

 

I'm having fun with it. Sure I'm about 20 now, but it still doesn't stray away from the fact I put my childhood into the game and loving to play it the way it was before. I have higher priorities, but when I'm not raiding on WoW or going to University I'm going to be playing this for sure.

I've just returned in January from my second deployment to Afghanistan.
In 2007 I was in high school spending majority of my free time on this game. I wasn't making time to do the "normal" things for my neighborhood. Ex., Stealing from neighbors, Joining gangs, drugs, etc. This game was something much more to me/still is.

You need somewhere to go, to get away from the world and ease your troubled mind. I'll be on Runescape. Due to my extremely busy schedule, there's no way I'll be able to beat everyone here in rankings or anything like that. But I'll try!

EoC scape was not fun for me, and I'd be willing to bet (seeing as you all are here on this RWT'ing site) that you all feel the same way. So it's not that you've lost intrest in 2007scape already, you've lost so much intrest in Runescape itself that it shows on any Rs game you play.

I for one have not RWT'ed in about 3 years. I've got a lot of intrest in the game still. Absolutely love playing this game.

 

Mad respect. Thank you for serving the Country..and I share your sentiments on what makes Runescape such a fantastic game. It was definitely my means of escape throughout my High School years. The stress of getting high marks could be mitigated by spending some time with friends on RS

 

That's great to hear, that Rs helps others as well.

 

I'm having a blast starting from scratch. And seeing all the other thousands of people doing the same only encourages me to be on top.

I'll be playing this for pking and gold farming. That's about it lol.

 

Im still REALLY enjoying it, i reckon it will all come in good time when there is an economy ect

 

I feel the same. I was probably around 12 years old when I started playing runescape classic. It was great, and I loved it... then they took it away.
Then I played RS2, it was great, I loved it... and they took that away also.

Although both games are still available, it seems like a waste to even bother with them, as one gets no updates at all, and you have to start fresh in the other one. I too am in college and I can't be bothered with starting new. I understand that many people want to relive the feeling that they got while playing, however I think the feeling for myself will always remain in the past since I'm at a different point in my life now.


I will be waiting for bots to come out though.

 

Yeah the idea of it coming back was amazing people were going cray but i guess its that appealing to level up i think, if you want you can just wait a couple month and buy an acc? to do fun things like pk etc.. if you dont wanna level up and stuff
