A UGIM items trade where I was buying items from him - at the sum of $200.
Paid on 29th December (Thursday), and agreed to be delivered on the same week's Saturday.

No show.

They then pushed dates back multiple times - making me (the customer - who has long-already paid) wait for times they picked in their group's timezone even after failing the first - and for several hours, several times pushing dates back. No show. No compromise on meeting at my availability either.

He then told me the group's leader wasn't going through with the deal (that had already been agreed upon and paid several days ago) because he wanted to increase the prices.
Obviously, that goes against everything - and they're holding my funds hostage, and so he said he'd likely offer me a refund if he can't get the "group's leader" to agree.

"Group's leader" agreed is what he told me and so ANOTHER time was set. I waited, making myself avaialble through the whole day and hours into the night - and yet no show. I then told him to send a warning to his "group" that I'd wait a final two more hours - and if there's no show this time - I don't see this ever working out and I'd take the refund he mentioned.

Now that it's time to cough up that refund - for the past 3 days - he's gone dead silent.
From spamming me with random messages I don't even care for and being responsive within a few minutes - to playing a dead possum.

The amount of time spent waiting for something that probably doesn't exist - has been way more costly than the $200. I am VERY busy and yet took much time out to meet with their failed showings.

Usually, for trades with individuals that go over a certain threshold, I offer to exchange socials and other personal information - before going ahead with any trade. To ensure safety for both parties. This time I skipped out on it, and it cost me even more time, but thankfully there are other legal methods which I have taken.

Needless to say, I've taken precautions and will be writing a warning to him on Discord to resolve the issue on this Sythe case when called, before I escalate things for him.

At this point, it isn't the principle of messing with the mere $200 deal he scammed that I care more for - it's to teach him a lesson of not scamming my time and integrity.
For all I know - his newly made account that knows hows to get vouches quick is a ban-evasion scheme.
Anyway, he can just give me the smallest reason now to move things further, legally.

Last warning to him: Resolve this issue and give me my refund. I've given you the easy and civil way here to do it on a Sythe case. If not - I'm going ahead with the Investigations I warned you about, and will gladly burn through a lot more than that chump change, just to teach you a lesson.

 

For clarity: That is a refund of the 200 dollar USD trade AND a 2-week membership bond - for having me waste one for the failed showings.

Already knew it would be the case, so without wasting more time I continued with the next step of the legal pursuit.

The PI that I put out on his ass has already given enough details.
On top of having unregistered 'businesses', and tax-evading and benefits-claiming - which were already a given:
They discovered he's had access to more-than-inappropriate online interactions with "young persons" (legal term in UK that is the equivalent of - you guessed it - minors) - including, but not limited to, "indecent content" (you know what the investigator's getting at).
He's a literal nonce.

For the above very reason, they've informed me that regardless of whether I want to pursue my own case against him - they have an "ethical duty" to work on that other disgusting part themselves.
Meaning: for whatever reason, if I choose NOT to pursue my case (say, I don't want to spend more time/money on this piece of trash) - they will deal with him regarding the issues involving minors with the local authorities, REGARDLESS.
Which would, at the lowest, put him in sight for potential predatory practices.

Legally, I can not publicize the signed NDA that includes THIS information, but I CAN put up the initial formal reply posted to me that includes the original first-consultation with the investigator that they were successful in finding him - and whether or not I'd like to continue with the full investigation.

He scammed the wrong damn person.

Investigator part was to successfully lure out this rat from dodging my discord messages and show up to this thread. Wouldn’t do him like this if he wasn’t protected by anonymity, that would be messed up.

He already knows my btc address to send the refund to, requested since Saturday. I’m done with him beating around the bush or going silent, I also use discord for business messages, got no more time to waste.
