Anyone have any feedback on this? I love playing poker and the idea of playing poker for rs gold is sick. But im worried about going on the site and getting key logged or something? Or the credibility of the poker client actually being random vs rigged, etc etc... because its based on runescape haha.

Just curious about basically the credibility of the website.

Also how do you actually play for rs gold?

Someone just give me a full guide on the website advertised up top

I was an EX-Gen rank there. [1b buyin] One day an old imposter of mine came on BBB. I know because he still had the name that he used to impost me. I told him to "GTFO this website until you get your own name." The next day I was set back to a Captain Rank with no refund for "Immaturity" in the chat which I guess can be reasonable. I go inactive for a few weeks and come back to be banned. I ask the owner what happened and he said there was a scam report on me. It turned out to be false and I was unbanned. I went back a while later and I was banned and when I asked he would never respond to me. Enough about my own problems. I wouldn't gamble with them because they use a "Chip" currency, You can buy-in with RSGP no problem, but if you win money more often then not nobody has the RSGP to cash you back out. Also there's a 6% comission on cashout and a 5% capped rake on some tables then a 5% rake on all the Big Tables.

I hope this helped you and sorry for the massive post.

I personally never had a problem cashing in or out. The atmosphere is pretty chill. Don't worry about being infected, the site is clean.

The problem with some random person on Runescape starting up a site like this is lack of oversight. There is no way to audit them and prove they are running the site up to standards.

Many websites offering gambling services (even unregulated ones) must prove that their games are not rigged. One example is the "provably fair" system used on many Bitcoin casinos. Example: https://bitzino.com/ and http://provablyfair.org/

There is no way to test that Bigboibets is running a fair game. There is no way to prove that they don't print their own chips. There is no regulation for their service. This is not me telling you that they aren't trustworthy people, or that the services are rigged. All I am saying is that without some explicit and verifiable proof otherwise, it is a risk which must be taken into consideration.

Now, if you win and cash out your chips, you'll be paid for them I am quite sure. If you are just looking to play around and have some fun, it's probably fine. But if you're expecting to actually make money off the site, I'd say you're nuts.

I'd like to do my best to prove this website's software is fair, firstly the software was purchased from www.briggsoft.com, "PokerMaverns" you can buy the closed source version ranging from $99 to $500 - or you can download the trial version for free and test how it works that way.

I'd also like to point out that we're featured on the website here http://www.briggsoft.com/pmavens_play.htm for free, as the owner of that site likes to express succesful running poker stes using the HTML5 version.

Another point I'd like to make is that www.sealswithclubs.eu the biggest bitcoin poker website use the same software as us, purchased from briggsoft (they however use the older client) and they have 400+ active players 24/7.

Lastly, here's all the infomation you need as to how the RNG works: http://www.briggsoft.com/docs/pmavens/Utilities.htm#shuffle

Hope that cleared everything up if you have any questions feel free to ask!

Thanks,

100 times this.

As for the doubts about rigging and keylogging, the owner has had trouble implementing a main page or modifying his client to add certain tables. It would be beyond his skill level to do any of those :P

Also, regarding the rakes. They are always open to feedback regarding the rakes and will sometimes even open tables if you request them. They have also been known to open very low raked tables, you've just got to spot them.

I played there for a bit and enjoyed my stay.. Legit site full of fishies

it's not like nobody can't reverse engineer that piece of software. it was always funny how the staff gets hands that are near impossible odds in real life.

The whole staff, site is unorganized and there is 0 motavation. Once day it's going to collpase with everyones money with it, i won't have mine sitting in there thanks though.

No factual claims. But yes if the site collapsed everybody who had chips deposited would lose. You sound like the typical "poor" poker player who victimized themselves.

i don't even go on there or play poker ... not even poor let's not start that discussion. plus i worked on their site, it's legit i didn't say it wasn't. it's just strange...

and theres no audits, no public information. you sound like the typical "rich" player that trusts anybody with their money

I wouldn't take any of your posts which criticise others seriously, especially when you're probably a Vader who joined this month.

Whenever the site collapses, all chips will be cashed out first, although this will not happen for a very long time. Also there is no wonder why this user feels victimimzed after his poor social engineering attempt to gain access to the Bigboibets servers (http://www.sythe.org/report-scammer-archive/1637015-nick_91-hacking-bugabuse.html )

Is the rake still unbeatably high?
The rakes in the all-in tables are 5%, which is equivalent to 55x2 dicing, in normal poker tables the rake can be anything between ~0.001% to 4,5% (for an example sometimes there's 1b+ pots with only 1m rake)

obviously you don't even know what your talking about. i had full access to that website, and iZinc apologized and seen it wasn't me. And what company pays their dues after bankruptcy? Your obviously still 11. What can someone gain from their site? A poker software for $100? Please.

Firstly there's no need to be worried about key logging, and in any circumstances if you are scared just use a different username/password to anything you have (there are no downloads as it is for BBB).

The credibility of the poker client is nothing to be worried about also; personally I had my doubts when I heard about it, and I emailed Kent Briggs (owner of Poker Maverns/Briggsoft, what bigboibets rent the poker client from):

They don't have access to the source code, it is a closed source, so nothing pretty much can be rigged.

And to play for RS gold, it's done via cashing in/cashing out, all done through the chatbox on the poker client. It's done through a chip trader (a trusted person who paid for their rank).

Besides that, there's not much really that I can fault after having played it myself, bar some points listed below.

- Sometimes when you want to cash out large amounts of chips, they may not have enough stock to cash you out at that very moment so you may have to wait a while to be cashed out, but this isn't always the case and they do try to get cash to cash you out as fast as they can.

- Some of their rules are a bit flawed, eg. 'You can only cash out with the currency (EOC/07) you cashed in with'. If a rank is out of stock in one currency they offer to cash the rest out with the other.

Another cashing in/out issue was from my friend who I reffered to BBB. A rank told him he'd need to 'win' double what he cashed in to be able to cash out, and since then he's pretty much left the site:

Only thing I would suggest is for them to make clear certain rules as people who don't know them and cash in may get screwed over afterwards, but in all honestly there's nothing to worry about, it's a safe & fun site!

Never really associated with it, Joopii is the co-founder and has how-to scam videos and stuff of him on youtube so it's just a sketchy crowd IMO.

Allow me to elaborate on Soul of Rich's post. I remember this particular user, he wasn't exactly the brightest individual. I've told him this.

It is against the rules of bigboibets to BUY IN CHIPS with one currency and CASH OUT chips for another. It used to be where you needed to cash out double the amount of chips bought in to cash out for the other server (if you were doing less you would be charged the equivalent of our swapping rates always +/- 1 of the chip buy in rates).

Now this rule is VOID.. you CANNOT cash in from one server and cash out to another server without using the swap rates. Many people try to abuse the system by doing this, and it just isn't allowed. I don't recall him saying anything about 300m eoc or whatever, but if a player bought in with both server's currency I imagine they can cash out for either (it would need to be checked by an admin first).

Tl;dr - You cannot buy in chips with one currency and expect to cash out with the other for the 6% cash out commission, you must use the swap rates or cash out to what you bought in for. Chip traders will automatically calculate the swap rates for you from the chips you send them, should you choose to continue with the cash out to the opposite server.
