Rs General Suggestion

I think the amount of wildy threads and free trade threads is ridiculous. Every time I open Rs General there is about 5 new threads of wildy. I report them all and they eventually get locked but noone listens and just keeps making them.

So I say we either have a subsection for them or make a different rule because most of the people have not been following the rule to put it in the thread.

Not too mention the other runescape sections which are flooded with the same thing. It's also being flooded with how can I make this account a staker, etc etc.

Up to the mods. It's exciting all this is coming back, but it's flooding the forums like hell.

 

Iit is quite a wide issue and is the main one of RS at the moment, so it's only natural people will be making threads about it, even if they did see the sticky. I think it's a bit much to ask all threads to be kept in the sticky, but I don't support having a whole subforum; I don't mind all the threads tbh.

 

It'd be different if they weren't all the same thing.

The entire RS General Section needs revamped, having some new sub-sections imo. This may be combated soon, but I'm hoping the majority of it disappears after free trade + wilderness comes out. Around 30-40% of the people active in RSGen have been posting the threads, so trying to forum ban them or something may be counter-productive.

I did. You complain there are too many threads relating to one subject, so the mods put in place a sticky to discuss it.

If people fail to see it, then they should be dealt with in whatever matter.

 

I know there is a sticky, and I'm saying maybe something else needs to be implemented. Your basically just re-stating what I said in my thread.

No support. You're asking to change a rule because people aren't following it rather than enforcing the rule already in place.

 

No, I'm not asking to change it necessarily, but have something else implemented so these threads get reduced.

You accused me of not reading the thread, so I decided to show you that I had done previous to posting, hence the recap.

No support anyway, rules just need to be enforced harder, and cleanup needs to be more frequent.

All we can really do as of this moment is wait for the Staff to deal with said threads when they're online. They may not get monitored 24/7, but perhaps there will be a chance for a few of them to keep the section in check as possible.
