RS Gambling Stories...

Hey guys, curious to hear some of your craziest RS related gambling stories... back when I was younger (and had no concept of using GP for skills), I dice dueled way beyond the amount needed to get turmoil... Not understanding how much of a benefit it would be - I continued dicing. Eventually losing everything! LOL

What brought this to mind was just last night I threw my last 5m onto my tokenbets account... Walked 2 hours later with 77m. Needless to say, I was one happy camper!
(luckily by 'last 5m' I mean coins - I invested the rest in items/skills already!)

I've had a lot of stupid run ins with Ddyce and dicing :/
I remember starting at 200M rofl doubled it to 400, then again to 800 and THEN AGAIN to 1.6b, but I was so pumped here and thought fuck it one more time to get 3.2b - Rip all my cash l0l

Funniest thing is I never learn, I've done that way too many times

 

Managed to turn 100M to 19B staking on 07, started selling it all and got banned with 9B left

 

Never gambled much at all, FF'd a host for a bandos set and won in like 2011, but that's it, haha.

 

I do most of my bigger stakes drunk...not sure if that's a mistake or not yet since my last staking session I made about 5b. That was the last time I have staked though, that was about a month ago. Invested in a partyhat and have already made 400m profit off of that. So it is what it is. (On a side note, 2b chucks really get the heart going)

Dear lord lol.. I never have ANY luck doing multiple all ins to double... Yet I have no problem losing over and over??? haha.

 

At least you got most of it out.. That's quite a win ban.

 

I could imagine only imagine, ahaha. Most casinos are hotbeds for drinking anyway, certainly heightens the excitement of winning and cushions losing al ittle bit.

For sure.. It's a game after all! For whatever reason, I can't visualize it as IRL cash until AFTER I lose it xD

I was a dragondyce host for about a year and I hosted with Starry's Max Mains 07 commission clan. I have some crazy screen shots. From people hitting 12-2 on rolls for 30x payouts to people winning 15b dice duels etc.

 

Cool thread. Enjoyed reading through it. I will forever be a gambler, whether I control myself or not...

 

You miss hosting Xeiro? I do I wish Ko never fucked shit up. I used to love the rush of gambling.

 

Yeah it was fun, but hosting became continually worse as the player base dropped & Jagex kept adding restrictions. Regardless of KO scamming so many people, non-automated gambling was on its way out, unless you did odds staking.

Still glad I got to reach the top of the lucrative windows of free trade for staking, pking, and gambling, definitely a worthwhile experience.

Certainly wish I had invested in a dice dueling host position years back, with Smokin' Mils... No risk. All profit.. Even the new host restrictions of 5m duels were plenty enough to pay it back in a few hours.

 

I literally had bills and didn't know how to sell it off, and eventually lost it all. Sad days. Haha.

 

Wasn't really involved in any huge dicing clans but still had small memories...
