RS account selling questions.^^

I've shared an account with a friend off and on about 3 years ago, and ever since, we've been doing recover account battles after he moved. I just now finally got my email registerred with the account, so I can recover it every time now. Thing is, I'm in a spot irl atm, where I need money, but I don't want to sell the account if it's not secure...

If I were to sell the account, register under the buyers email and let him change the recoveries, give him the past passwords, and most recent ISP and subscription details, would the account be secure? The account is maxed combat (126+8) besides summoning and ranged and it has alright skills, all 50+.

Should I just hold onto the account, sell it or what? I don't want anyone getting the raw end of a deal...

 

If your that sketchy about trying to sell it, and it still seems like it could be hacked back, don't bother yet. Maybe wait a few months until you know for sure only you have access to it. I know you need money right now, But I don't think its safe to sell

 

I wouldn't sell it. It's safer to just hold on to it, rather than run the risk of your friend recovering it again, then landing you in hot water.

 

This is definitely the best advice you are going to get on this matter. The account sounds very unsecure to me, and adding another person into the mix just complicated it that much more. If something ever were to go wrong, you would then be in a very sticky situation and be facing a ban or being known as a scammer unless you had the cash to refund the sale. Better to just avoid that situation altogether.
