RS Account/Bot Question.

I am already into WoW and Champions online, and soon to be DCUO, but I was wondering if a little money can be made botting RS accounts to sell cheap. I currently have 2 Desktop PC's and 2 Laptops, the desktops are mine and the wifes main computing source so I wouldn't really want to use them but the 2 laptops are pretty new so running multiple bots or whatnot wouldn't be a problem, they basically sit around collecting dust since we graduated college.

I could have 2 laptops dedicated to botting 24/7 and I can afford RiD if that would make the process safer and easier.

If this is easily viable and someone with some RS and Bot experience wants to help I would be willing to cut you in and give remote access to the laptop/laptops being used to do the botting. I have used bot in the past but I have never really got into Runescape. I'm actually loading it up now.

just get massive banks on them and they'll sell for 50cents per mill plus extra depending on the account's stats.

 

Don't get RiD. It's great in theory, but everything else is also very good (just not great).

The ban rates on the Nexus Client bots (e.g. rsbots.net, rsbotting.com, kMiner.org, etc) are so low that if you churn out even 4 accounts a month, you won't notice any problems. I'd say that with Nexus bots, it's a ban every 2000 hours or so if you have a good script. Just do your research on the script before you decide to use it.

Powerbot.org (the most common free bots) is generally pretty good, but the 24/7 potential of that client is significantly worse in my opinion. I sometimes use powerbot scripts to do tasks that take less than 10-20 hours to complete (and not all at once), but I generally think of those bots as significantly higher risk. I'd guess a ban every 500 hours with those bots.

 

Appreciate the info. Runescape actually seems like it was/is a pretty engaging game. I really didn't get into MMORPG's till Star Wars Galaxies. I had a few friends that played UO, Everquest and some of the earlier ones but never really heard much of Runescape. I'll more than likely hit you up to this weekend if I have a few hours to spare without interruption. Between work and my MSW program I don't have a great deal of time, looking forward to a day when I can sit on my pute again and vegetate, one reason why I made an offer to go in with someone and have remote access.

 

I used to use powerbot, but after using the nexus client. I can say its waaay better. Much less chance of a ban and flawless, plus you do not have to swift through the millions of crap scripts. I have a paid thieving script for powerbot that i bought a few weeks ago. if you would like I can lend you it, since I don't use it. Just pm me
