They literally have crazy.gold on their home page as their first words LOL and then saying a bunch of things in here at crazy gold blah blah

I claim damages of atleast 2000$, which is their 2 days profit which I WANT 1000$ OF WHICH TO BE PAID TO THE SCAM VICTIMS COMMUNITY FUND OF SYTHE. 2000$ is the revenue we get in 12hours, and god knows for how long he impersonated us

WHY IS THIS WITHOUT A SECOND DOUBT THEFT? HE PAID FOR A SPONSOR POST. SPONSOR POSTS CAN BE USED WITHOUT ANY INTELECTUAL PROPERTY BEING CLAIMED, EVEN WHEN TARGETING BRANDS AS KEYWORDS. BUT MAKING A WHOLE PAGE ON YOUR WEBSITE THAT IMPERSONATES YOU AS CRAZY.GOLD AND THEN TARGETING IT IS THE WORST MARKETING STRATEGY YOU CAN HAVE.

in this case i already gave the link to @Gladiator so he can verify the text was there. Also the idea and concept of this theft is to make a page, saying that crazy.gold (which is exactly my link) sells gold blah blah, cheapeast prices, to the users who search my link on google, to mistakenly click there and think this is me.

he is also impersonating arcus in the meta, but doesnt have his link etc like with me

but he is saying better than in the actual link, again, he is only blatantly impersonating us, but is doing this to every website in top 15 keywords

He is ultimately stealing from the whole community TO BENEFIT HIMSELF. So again I want him to to make a move that will benefit the whole community, and hurt himself - I claim 2000$ (12hours of revenue for us) in Damages, 1000$ of which is to be paid to the scam victims fund.

Projecting how this will unfold: Rpgstash replies at one point, after delaying it and a mod tagging him and says: "Crazy.gold is not a brand"
Then I will say: "Yes, it's a link that people type in google, to go to our website, like most people do for the website's they can't remember. Then you show up to help them, linking to your website, saying you are us, impersonation"

 

Ads are a work in progress. They are worded properly in most cases and those that are not are currrently not serving. We have already achieved our objective of establishing the relative brand power of players in this business and yours was not very high. FYI, there are around 5 searches in total per day for crazygold and our ad has had 48 impressions, 10 clicks, and 0 conversions. If this is anything to go by your daily revenue can't be much higher than 200 dollars and your demands are an attempt to double your meager profits.

 

So your agument is:
“I did impersonate you, but didnt really have any results, only stole 200$, but i will attack you personally to have an argument”

 

The point I am making is that based on available data your demands for compensation are outlandish. Moreover, as per Sythe's current terms that I have just archived here Terms of Service and Rules | Sell & Trade Game Items | OSRS Gold | ELO there is nothing to suggest that Sythe arbitrates anything beyond removal of content so if you want to start an arbitration process about monetary compensation Sythe is not your platform.

Nevertheless, we have taken necessary measures to comply with Sythe's rules as communicated to us by moderator. This means that, although allowed by Google when not officially trademarked, we won't use brand name in any ads unless website has a completely generic name like "buyrunescapegold" which is indistinguishable from normal keywords.

 

There is no difference between impersonating saying you are this or that website or this or that user in a scam thread for impersonation. A simple: "I stopped impersonating you", does not make a report invalid, or fix it mid-term. Especially when this was brought up in a previous report, you just said i removed it, but waited it out on the other people you impersonate

Aribagold and megabets got in trouble for doing the same thing, copying websites etc

 

I did not wait anything out. It just has not been a priority to modify advertisement material that generates no traffic. But let it be known it has finally been done and there really is not much else to say here.

We're not going to rule in favor of damages but I've determined a 3 month ban for "severe plagiarism" is in order here. Tremendous shame really.
