Rotation for low level fire mage

Can anyone provide me a rotation for a leveling fire mage please and thank you. I leveled a gnome fire mage and then kept getting the crap beat out of me at level 34 or so, but switched realms and now i'm trying it with a human. So any help would be great.

Check that out, it'll help you out quite a bit. I'd recommend leveling frost, but if you like fire then stick with it .

 

get firestarter talent and kite while casting scorch and fire blasts on cd

 

Spam. Everything. But honestly at lower levels it doesn't matter terribly much

 

There is no rotation for low levels....keep rotations to level 85...and sometimes its priority based.

It really doesn't matter what spec you got at during the lower levels. Everything in dies so fast now. Just pick the spec that seems most fun to you.

 

Doesn't matter anyway cause this is a beautiful example of a gravedig and the poster probably doesn't care anymore.

Poster probably doesn't, but I do. I have a level 17 Gnome Fire Mage I am trying to level and want as much info as I can get. Rotation is important and I am struggling a bit. All I have done in WoW is Rogue, Hunter, and DK.

I thought I replied to this thread I guess not I'm so sorry guys. I have just been spamming fireball and doing BG's and now my mage is level 55 and wrecks faces with an instant pryoblast x2 crits and then impact crits x3 noone can stop the evil blood mage.

OT;

when you say rotation, are you saying you're in pve? if so you shouldn't be getting owned as the basic cast priority is your biggest spell [providing you aren't in combat yet] and then casting a quick spell right afterwards, or a shorter cast time, weaker spell [you wana cast instants last unless you're a lock in which they're your main dps]. Also, if you're pvping, i hope you have heirlooms otherwise you will of course, have your ass handed to you. if you do have looms though, wait till you get the fire starter talent, which allows you to cast [insert fire spell here] while moving, allowing the perfect kite technique since you can also bounce off procs while keeping at distance. the best thing is to learn your class, practice on dummies or random mobs if you would like to continue leveling [i recommend doing so] and master the spec you enjoy the most. don't listen to people saying to choose another spec, as each spec has its pros and cons, you just have to learn to compensate and build on those cons.

At low lvls just cast your "biggest" spell and everything should be ok ... but I always personally preferred to lvl as frost so maybe try that as it is easier?
