    Rocket Dock [Application Launcher]

    A Guide to RocketDock

Mac-like Application Launcher for Windows XP/Vista/7

First off, you will need to download RocketDock by visiting their website at www.rocketdock.com or by clicking here

Once downloaded, run it and choose your language. I chose English for mine.
Click OK then go through the installation settings to start installing RocketDock.

When you're done, launch RocketDock and you should see the dock appearing on top of your screen.
It may look very basic on first sight but trust me, with the many different themes to choose from,
other customization options and add-ons you should be able to find something that will suit your style.

The first thing you'll want to do is click on 'Dock Settings', which is the second last app on the dock.
I'll be explaining some of the settings below.

I'd recommend checking the options I have shown in the picture.

    General Settings
This speaks for itself. You will find all general settings for RocketDock here.

    Icons Settings
You will be able to find settings for icon sizes, hovering effects, etc here.
I made my icons smaller as the default size is quite large for my laptop.

    Position Settings
Position your dock using the tools in this panel.
I personally prefer having my dock appear at the bottom as it gives a
mac-like feeling and using the edge offset I moved it up a bit.
I left the rest as it is.

    Style Settings
Here you will find the list of themes available. I'm currently using the first
one "Aero Milk" as it suits my wallpaper. You can change the fonts used
on RocketDock to give it a much more professional look but I skipped
those as I'm fine with the defaults.

When you have done all of the above, you should start adding new shortcuts/application to your dock.
To do so, simply drag the application onto the dock and position it wherever you want.
You may also want to remove the default ones by making a right click and clicking 'Delete Item' if you're not going to use them.

That's it! Thanks for viewing my guide. Hope you liked it.
I'll probably release guide 2 on RD which covers add-ons and stuff.
Please rate and leave constructive criticism. I spent 3 hours on this guide >_<
