As long as gaming becomes a more bigger entertainment the demand for RMT products will raise. As the trend is going upwards about 20% yearly for the past decade I feel comfortable it will continue for a while. The player base is getting older and can and will spend more of their real life earnings into gaming.

There's a huge difference between the official store and black market, the black market will be able to always compete official stores because there's no option to sell virtual items or gold back to the game. This supply will find their way to the market through the black market.
