RL Vs OSB

I have been a OsBuddy Pro user for years and years now.
However; I see A LOT of people switching to Runelite.

Curious, what do you use & WHY?

 

Runelite is free and you can make your own plugins.

 

What if I am trash at everything computer related lol. Plugins are already set right?

 

Yeah. Plugins are already set but you can make new ones.

 

I always use RL over Osbuddy but used to use Osbuddy because it was easier to navigate screenshots for services.

 

Runelite is starting to grow very fast while osbuddy is decreasing in members. I personally like RL more because it has more useful features.

 

I would stick with osbuddy if you are a devout pker because familiarity is everything! Even different fonts/location of xp drops makes a big difference.

 

I use RuneLite because I don't care enough about the gaming world to buy a client - it even took me forever to get RuneLite.
Love the features on it.

I don’t play in GL mode specifically for that reason.

 

RuneLite for sure. Just a cleaner more user friendly UI. One of the coolest things for me as an avid PKer is the automatic target HS lookup.

 

Damn. Alright, going to check out RL and see how it is

 

RL has better features, but osbuddy has opengl lol I used it up until a month ago because of that.

RL has tile markers and other cool features though so I switched from OSB to this

Osbuddy pro is like $2 vs free runelite

 

I’m honestly the type of person that would rather pay for a service, only because in a lot of ways I place value on knowing they are making money.
I’m going to DL and check it out today though.

 

Osbuddy takes up more CPU if im not mistaking. Runeloader was the optimal client but unfortunately got taken down. I'd use main client or runelite tho (or exilent if ur a pker)

 

I understand you entirely. Even if its just a client, there is still a lot of work that goes into creating something like RL. OSBuddy's opengl (which is makes runescape look like an anime) is worth the money over something like RL in my opinion.

Saying that, I found myself switching clients from OSB to RL for PVM, which doesnt sound like a good trade off having to use two clients for the same game.

I havent figured out how to add custom plugins to RL but apparently theres some impressive ones out

 

I use Runelite but before I used Osbuddy and Runeloader.
Runelite in my opinion is smoother than the others , I can be running 5 Runelite clients perfectly while Osbuddy only let me 3 and gives me random lag spikes.

Back when I staked I always used Osbuddy because I fell my Rng was a lot better when using it. Crazy I know.

 

Runelite allows custom plug-ins and alot of people are using ahk autoswitchers with it.

also OSB is officially recognized by jagex and RL isnt.

 

They both have their ups & downs, but one big plus is that RuneLite is free
