It's still making $1500 a month for a hobby/playing a game. Almost all hobbies you don't make back what you put into it.

you're comparing a developer that would have to work 40 hours a week developing actual content for the game

with a person who just spends 30 minutes pking, says random shit in the video, renders it and uploads

A frontend developer doesn't create content for the game, they just implement changes to the frontend of the website. I'm not saying $1500/month isn't good, it just amazes me that someone who would presumably be higher priority for the business and directly generate in-come (such as So Wrecked) would earn almost half what a frontend dev makes.

They receive hundreds of applications/cv per day lol.

EDIT: I wasn't actually saying it IS hard to get a job at Jagex, I was asked to provide proof that I attended an interview :p
