That riddle has been given a couple of times, anyways air is NOT THE correct answer to my riddle =).

Here's a very common puzzle, I won't spice it up with any needless variations.

You are standing at point A. You need to get to point B. Separating you from B are two paths - one that will lead you on a road to nowhere, the other that will actually lead you to point B. On each of these paths, there is a man blocking the road. You know that one of them ALWAYS tells the truth while the other ALWAYS lies, but you don't know which path has which man on it. However, you have to pick a path to get to point B. What is the one and only question you can ask to get to point B?

[Don't say something dumb like "what language do you speak?" or "punch the guy in the face, see if the path leads to B, if it doesn't walk back and knock the other dude out and walk that way." Seriously, think about it.

Say, would you come with me down the path your standing infront of? One would say no, and the other would say yes.. The no = dont go.

You can only ask ONE question, to ONE of the people. Sorry if that was not made clear.

If the person telling the truth was guarding the good path, he would say: "yes"
If he was guarding the bad path, he would say: "no"
If the person lying was guarding the good path, he would say: "no" <--this is because he actually WOULD go down the path since it is the correct path, so he has to lie.
If the person lying was guarding the bad path, he would say: "yes"

If you get a no answer, if the person you asked was the liar, you would go through that path, but if it was the truth teller, you would go through the other path. Since you don't know if you asked the truth teller or the liar, this would lead you to uncertainty. Sorry. Try again

Ask one guard what the other guard would say would lead to Point B.

If it's the truth guy, he will tell you what the liar would say, so you choose the opposite.
If it's the liar, he will tell you a lie, so you would choose the other path.

Assume there are approximately 5,000,000,000 (5 billion) people on Earth. What would you estimate to be the result, if you multiply together the number of fingers on every person's left-hands? (For the purposes of this exercise, thumbs count as fingers, for five fingers per hand.) If you cannot estimate the number then try to guess how long the number would be.

So, im thinking its 5^5000000000 or 5 * 5 five billion times.
but that leaves out the variables.
so, im assuming everyone has 5 fingers. but if u figure that out of every single person in the whole world, one of them has lost his left hand, that would throw a zero into the equation, and anything times zero is still zero, so my anwser is zero ^_^

And Nathan, you can discuss riddles - how someone came to an answer, etc. There's obviously not going to be any discussion if people google the answers and whatnot, but I think there are plenty of posts that discuss the pattern of solving riddles [logic and whatnot], no?

I have another challenging riddle. Don't bother googling it. The answer to this is not bullshit, it's actually *intelligent.*

Now;

You're given a deck of Pwnz0rsauce cards. There are 52 cards in the deck, and there are two distint faces; a "face-up" side and a "face-down" side. The problem is, you can't tell which side is up and which side is down. However, the people in the land of Pwnz0rsauce can, and they tell you that to leave the island of Pwnz0rsauce, you have to create two piles with an equal number of face-up cards. They also tell you that 10 of the cards in the deck started out face-up, the rest are face-down. But you, of course, have no way of knowing which cards are face-down and which are face-up, since you can't decipher the cards. The number of face-down cards in each pile doesn't matter; you could have a pile of 5 card and a pile of 47 cards, as long as you can GUARANTEE that each pile has the same number of face-up cards.

How would you create these two piles?
