okay. riddle . hmmm.

while i was going to st ives i met a man with seven wives,
each wife had seven cats, each cat had seven kittens,

how many people were going to st ives ?

 

One, you never said anything about the man/ or his wives going there.

There are 10 birds on a tree, you shoot and kill one, how many birds are there now? (Live ones)

 

You're in a box, there is no way to get out. How do you get out?

 

A black dog stands in the middle of an intersecton in a town painted black. None of the street lights are working due to a power failure caused by a storm. A car with two broken headlights drives towards the dog but turns in time to avoid hitting him. How could the driver have seen the dog in time?

What is the easiest way to throw a ball, and have it stop, and completely reverse direction after traveling a short distance?

 

The other person catches the ball, and throws it back to you.
