Riddle me this

Not really because the designer is expected to make something, I never heard of someone scamming a gfx (by not making one after payment)

It can be abused by newfags (like myself) who can make gfx to the same person over and over and claim to payout, but in reality thats not the case

Ofc you can add restrictions, but it would still be easy to get over

The hassle is not worth it

 

Graphic mods scamming/banned has nothing to do with it btw, same as any other section mod scamming/banned. If you're saying that's one reason, then no vouches would exist in any market.

There are plenty more, There was a recent scam by a random in the gfx section for 15$ and not giving him gfx, but i cbf searching 10 pages for it.


My point being is in short;
If people can "vouch" for stupid shit like free skilling services (where no trust is involved)
Why isn't the GFX section allowed to?

And also, about it being "abused"
If a person fake orders and vouches 5 times it would be obvious. And fake vouching multiple times could be done without use of the gfx section where people just say "i sold gp blablablabla".

 

No one scammed in those examples lol

OT: I reckon free services should just receive "feedback" instead of vouches as well. Even if its essentially the same thing.

 

What if there were an option to vouch for the graphic designer within one's post? Like, in the bottom left where the "last edited by" text appears, it could optionally say "signature designed by so and so" with a hyperlink to the designer's store. It wouldn't be very intrusive, and the last edited by text could appear right below the signature design text. It would be completely optional, so people would only enable it if they want to vouch the designer.

It would help bring traffic to the good designers (like Planker).

Also, what if high cost graphics design jobs were vouchable? Ones that could be more easily proved to not be fake.
