RiD Botting Method?

In the sticky I saw RiD is described as.

"Botting Method: Computer Vision w/ AI"

what exactly does this mean. Never seen it before.

 

You open your own runescape client, and the bot works through there

 

Ehh I asked RiD he said

It's just a term he created to describe it.

AFAIK RiD is a color bot at it's heart, and for the rest, you'd have to ask RiD himself, since it's closed source only he can answer/what has come from him can be talked about.

Thanks for the answers yohojo and trent. Just wondering, does RiD actually have a degree in CS? I know a lot of runescape scripters are self taught, just wondering.

 

Yeah, RiD first touched Java at 19. He has a 4-year Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Science and Mathematics. He was even interviewed for a job at Jagex as a Java developer around the same time that Jagex was redesigning Varrock all those years ago. Using this kind of math, that would make RiD in his late 20s or early 30s.

"AI" is so overused, I could say my main loop is AIO because you can start anywere in the mine:
