Going under 0.4 recently, think it will hit 0.3, anybody think it will raise? Very sad sight to see.

It's because of botters, it's never going to rise unfortuntly because of so many bots. My prediction RS will crash is like 5-8 years moreorless.

I thought more RSGP was leaving the game than entering. There's so much money leaving the game via repairing items such as chaotics and nex armour, and also buying things from stores, such as capes.

The main way money enters the game is via high alchemy and coinshare, but it's debated whether coinshare sells the item and then splits the money or the money enters the game.

It could be a good thing or it could be a bad thing really. You just have to look at it from different stand points. like:
    1. the sellers it would be nice cuz you can buy low, and people are still paying like .90 on sythe from some very trusted gold sellers.
    2. Would be bad because.....I can think of any :p

True, it's so easy to update scripts for updated rs content, then it can surely be easy to make new scripts. Unless, if a rs3 was introduced, it was completely different from runescape 2.

I don't think RSGP will go down for quite some time. It is already being sold at a discount rate by most people and if it drops further, there would be less incentive for farms.

Gold's been extremely stable for the past couple of months..

Just because it's low, doesn't mean it's crashing. Just mean it crashed.

I guess runescape already working for real money trade system, like Diablo 3 have.

Then people can sell gold or any other items for real money.
That means you can add real money to your account and by that you can buy runescape items.

But you pay feeds for selling and buying.
Thats means runescape will get a lot of money by feeding the trades..

    :)

Look at it from this perspective: Farms are easier to create. Farms are growing larger. Botting is becoming easier, and more well known.

i7, Phenom II and DDR3 are all dropping in price. They're going to drop even further when the next generation of CPUs, RAM and so forth emerge within a couple of years. Everyone knows how to bot. But not everyone knows you can use Battle Encoder Shirase to limit CPU usage/time/cycles or Cheat Engine to speedhack to save/reduce/limit CPU usage/time/cycles and double the amount of bots you can run efficiently.

Everyone bots, but due to the other factors, the relative cost in RSGP respective to the size of the farms is balanced, and will remain that way since many gold sinks exist and people are going to actively trade gold for whatever reason.

Don't think of it as "I'm losing money." Think of it as "the incentive remains the same, I just have to adapt to the changes of this game."

I have a Pentium D 920 'Presler' 2x2 MB L2 cache and 4 GB of RAM. Botting won't be profitable for me and I don't even have a bank account to verify my Paypal, so I can't earn any real-world money nor would I be able to do anything with e-currency with a $0.00 sending limit.

But even on the Pentium 4 3.2 w/ HT @ 4 ghz that I had before I could run up to 8 bots cutting yew trees. On this processor I should be able to do like 12 without a problem, but I might not have enough RAM. I'm not sure how you can reduce the RAM usage from some 300-400 MB to less.

However, if my father or I did open a bank account, verify the paypal, and then invest at least 300-400 dollars into a custom built rig or something with a Phenom II x6 w/ 12 GB of RAM or something as such, then it would easily be possible to make 600-800 a month botting mostly F2P... It's easy to run 30-40+ bots on a rig like that.

I have a friend with 8 of these rigs and he's making over $3,500 a month altogether, but it took him 3 months to finally start profiting, he had to hire a few people, and go through a hell of a lot of work to be able to pay his utility bills and rent, but now he's making money, and he's going to expand his farm and hire people via teamviewer so that he can continue and reach $30,000 a month, then up to $100,000 or more.

Whereas my goal is more realistic, I just need a few hundred a month because I can't work until I'm finished with school, and Vegas has a terrible economy anyways. Otherwise I can kiss my home goodbye, lol... :\
