you just HAD to use the same stock i was going to use in my next sig... didn't you?

but TBH IMO if the smudging going from the bottom middle is meant to also act as the lighting, it looks EXTREMELY off especially considering the way the stock has light on it... :S

and the lighting thing ya thats why I was thinking of adding a second light source from the top.

 

i think it'd definitely improve it ten-fold

 

yes, I looked at it and immediately noticed the lighting, also imo the intesity of the lighting is too high. but good work on it

I dont think that the intensity is too high at all for the light. I think the render is such that adding a strong light wouldnt be distracting or take away from the sig at all. Although, I do agree with TDD.

 

I like it, I dont think the lighting is bad at all, the background looks cool, the blurred city (I think), very simple signature we have right here, and I like it!

 

very nice but yes, to much lightening from same position (not like i can do it better, never use lightening ) love the motion blur r something on the text aswell (text is my worst thing, so i usually use a noob logo ;p)
