Revamping Runescape Cheating

We're looking into revamping the forums to make it cleaner and easier for everyday users.
We want everyone's input before making these changes as some users may have reasons as to why it shouldn't happen.

RuneScape Cheating

Option 1) Merge Runescape 3 Cheating and Oldschool Cheating together leaving Verified Programs as it's own sub-section.

Option 2) Merge all 3 sub-sections into one.

Option 3) Leave it how it is.

If you prefer one option over the other for a specific reason, let us know.

 

Leave it as is, cheating/botting in RS3 and OSRS are completely different.

 

I was going to suggest making a pinned post stating when you make a thread it has to state [07] [RS3]

 

Personally think it's fine as it is. Like mage said, they're two completely different things. If they're merged together (even with the [07][RS3] tags), it seems like things could get quite messy.

 

The Runescape 3 cheating is very dead, it jumps from the 26th Aug to 7th Aug, merging them together would make it look cleaner in my eyes.

 

I don't know, in my opinion, keeping each game's cheating sections separate from each other makes it simpler to find what you're looking for. But, like you said, the RS3 section is fairly dead, so i'm torn between the options lol.

 

Merging the two would make it less clean (clutter) and less easier (navigation compromised) for our everyday users.

 

Leave as is, why try fix something that's not broken?

 

Merging all three together would be the best option in my opinion, just have required tags when making a thread or something and all current threads that have been posted on within the first few pages or so should be manually changed by a Moderator adding the tag if this did happen.

 

I didn't even know bots existed for rs3 however I didn't think people really played anymore.

 

I say leave as is. We can't even get the no man sky section removed yet and I feel like this is less important than some other things.

 

It's always has existed, since it's the main game.

 

I would recommend leaving as it is. Cheats for either game are very far part.

 

My suggestion would be leaving it as is.

 

To be honest having a section for botting would be nice since theres not been many new sub threads for runescape a while. Watching sythe grow these past couple months im pretty sure theres enough money to maintain something like this with everyone willing to do there bit to keep this site up forever!

 

merging them and then putting in the title either 07/rs3 makes sense to me which is basically what chloe suggested

I'm not too sure myself as the high ban rate has obviously affected activity levels in these sections. But cleaner is always better which could give a better outlook of Runescape 3 and 2007 cheating sub sections.
