Returning to Runescape after 6 years (HELP)

Hey guys, Im Stephen and I'm returning to Runescape (and sythe) after being gone from official RS for 6 years, I have played a lot of RSPS's since then but not steady just every few months and all the ones I played have been shut down. I left in 2011-2012 right after the EOC update, but thankfully the Jagex Account Revocery I submitted was approved today and I was able to recover my Main with over 224 days play time (the last login was 2,053 days ago when I logged in lol).

I was hacked before I left (a contributing reason for me leaving) so I only have about 6m and was trying to figure out a good way to make money these days. I originally was going to make cannon balls until I can get enough for good armor and shit but then I started looking up prices and noticed the AGS is like 2m, D-claws are 80k, and a D-pickaxe is 5m which is nothing like the market I'm used to. Did they nerf god-swords and whatnot? What are the top shelf armors and weapons used for PVM? What are some money making methods currently in use? I'm posting a pic of my stats and what little I got, I have a bunch of high lvl skills so I know there's some good methods that I can do. I'm a member also.

To be completely honest I don't know much about RS3 game play wise and market wise, but I know a lot has changed ever since the EoC. I would recommend watching some YouTube videos in hopes of finding out some money making methods or just things to improve your game play experience as a returning player.

If you're finding out that RS3 isn't meant for you but you don't want to give up entirely on RuneScape, I encourage you to try out Oldschool RuneScape in hopes of rekindling that passion that you once had for RS

 

Switch to Oldschool Runescape. My only advice.

 

I agree with this, so much would have changed since you were last active that Oldschool is closer to the game you know that the current state of RS3. Even as someone that hasn't actively played it since 2015 but has come back for a bit every 6-12 months, it's very hard for me to keep up with all the changes.

You'll have to start over stats wise on Oldschool but it's worth it.

 

Osrs for life. Then swap over the gp if u want.

ONLY osrs if you want to play runescape, if you want to play another game that sort of feels like a game you once knew then rs3

 

I hate to say it mate, but Oldschool is where its at.

 

bossing on rs3 and leveling divination are probably your best bets on rebuilding
