Restituted members/pardoned members

I've been reading the archives as of late, in both the disputes/pardons/scammer section. Quite fascinating to see how many banned members there are and why. On the other hand, It's also great to see so many unbanned and pardoned members. Really does show how much Sythe has grown and how far its come.

I was wondering, would it be possible to compile a list of all the Pardoned and Restituted members, stating why they were banned, link to their pardon, and if they got unbanned?

Just something that personally I find interesting, not sure about others.

As for linking to the pardon, not even globals have access to these once the user's been pardoned. They get archived in the administrator lounge following voting.

Would it be possible to just have a list of names, of people restituted and pardoned, as-well as what month/year?

 

Such a list used to exist (for pardoned members), but it wasn't updated frequently enough and quite a few pardons were missing. However, that list is now gone for some reason, I'm guessing the lack of updates.

 

This is still around somewhere, but it's been deleted as far as I am aware. Linking the pardon itself is pointless unless you are an administrator for reasons Ryan (n4n0) stated above. As for the list itself, only an administrator can really update it.

The form could look something like this (if this were reimplemented) -

User name:
Ban reason:
Date of unban:
Link to pardon (for Admins):

 

I just went hunting for the old list, and found it. It's been deleted as no one ever updated it.

As per this reason, I doubt another one will be made or the old one will return.

 

I remember the old list of pardoned members. At first it was constantly updated but then updates became thin and the list basically became a waste of space. Its only real use was I guess for members like yourself who are intrigued by Sythes history, but it just took up some time to keep updated so I don't feel there is enough reason for it to come back.
