Hi there. I was recently scammed for 500m 07 gp while attempting to purchase the rsn "11".

Didn't take an in-game picture of the 500m trade but the discord chat clearly shows they admit to taking it and admit to the scam.

There were many clues that a scam was taking place. My guess is that they asked the Sythe user Meowth to middleman a nonexistent trade, saying their discord was Ariane#1475 and posing as me (hence why I received the PM). Was a little too eager so I went along without receiving a PM confirming they own the RSN and without double checking the Discord tags (was a little nervous and inexperienced with getting Sythe PM confirmations).

Not too fussed. They admitted to it so it's not like there needs to be an investigation or anything, just figured I'd bring it up. I know the pictures are cut off and may not meet standards but I'm clearly not trying to slander against anyone, seeing as they admitted to it.

I'm pretty sure you're well aware of what happened here. There a several clues that this was not Champ / Meowth and that you made a quick decision for a name that you really wanted. Posting in Name Request Thread V3 often times leaves you as a target for someone to take advantage of your hope to acquire the name you've always wanted.

The confirmation PM you received did not match your Discord ID, nor does it match either of their posted ID's. I hope that you learn from this mistake so that it doesn't happen again.

As for @Meowth - Confirmation PM's require lines of text included; Verify the user you are speaking with before trading!, as for someone who is offering a middleman service, this is something you should know of as it can help prevent these scams from happening. You will be given a TWC that will be disputable in 1 month.
