Hello, it's been a while since I was banned, around a year actually. I was banned for desperately scamming somebody for about $90. At the time I was a $100 donor on sythe, had been a member since 2012, had my SVU tag, and also had a very large GFX Sales thread. This obviously made me seem trustworthy at the time, but unfortunately (little did I even know), I was not. I had taken so many payments in the past with vouches all over my GFX thread and had done about 200+ signatures/thread layouts/tags for multiple clients. This made me feel like I could start up my own iKov market, so I did. I started buying out Ikov gold to stack it up to resell, and it was going fairly well. One day I went gambling and pretty much lost all of my bank, around $300 worth of ikov gold. $300 for a GFX Salesman is a lot of time and work, so I figured that it would take weeks of graphics work to make the money back. I was frustrated at my luck, and decided that I didn't want to put in the work, so I turned to scamming.

I scammed a person by the name of StrengthRS (something along those lines). He trusted me with his 50b Ikov, so he went first in the trade. I immediately blocked him on skype, and then he proceeded to make a thread on how I had scammed him. The second I saw that thread I knew I had screwed up big time, and by then I had already gambled away the 50b and couldn't refund him, because I didn't have the $90 at the time. I felt so stupid and like such an idiot that I turned to scamming just to feed my gambling addiction. I then proceeded to scam someone by the name of MagicalRS for another 50b, again taking it and gambling it away. I was even more frustrated, and at the time I knew I just had to leave Sythe for a while and get over the egregious gambling addiction I had. I did end up refunding MagicalRS with a loan I took from a good friend of mine, so we're on good terms now. I was never able to reach StrengthRS since.

However, it's been almost a year since I was banned, and I have not even played Runescape or any RSPS since the incident. I know for a fact that I have matured a lot since the incident, and have been able to control my addictions since. I wanted to take a long break from Sythe before appealing my ban, simply because I was embarrassed of my past stupidity and idiocy. I'm not making any excuses for the incident, I'm simply apologizing to all of the users on Sythe who had trusted me. I betrayed them with my decision, and betrayed my own morals as well. I apologize to all of Sythe once again for my decision to scam, and vow to never betray my clients or any people just trying to trade and receive virtual goods. All I want to do is participate in the forums by following Sythe's guidelines and TOS, as well as reopening my graphics shop and doing what I love. Thank you for taking the time to read my appeal, all I ask for is a second chance. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

For anyone wondering, OP was banned because of Felix1222100 - Trying to trade with a DNT

 

Dude you can't even follow simple rules? It's DO-NOT-TRADE, so you come back and first thing you do is trade?

Basically to me, it seems like you believed once you did that, it'd be a breeze to get pardoned and get back to trading. I have to say, it was somewhat poorly thought out. I don't think you were trying to actively get around the DNT rank, but you just didn't thoroughly think about what you were doing.
