[REQUEST] Tips when buying RS Accounts?

Hey everyone,

I was interested in buying a high-end account that has done most quests because I CBF doing them all again after being banned for botting last year.

BUT

My friend told me that a common scam is that people sell you the account and then just take it back a few days later...

How can you avoid this? Any Tips?

Buy from a trusted seller, or just don't buy accounts at all.

ALL accounts can get recovered. It's the safest to just train it up yourself.

When purchasing accounts, they are always recoverable so only buy from a VERY trusted seller.

 

As said above accounts are always recoverable so make sure you take care when buying and only buy off legit trusted members .

Another tip could be to ask for every single bit of information there is on the account .

E.g: Membership dates,Recoveries,Emails

Make sure the information is correct as well. I would only by accounts of a handful of people from this site. It is also worth paying for an OMM to do a recovery check if you are paying heaps for a nice account.

 

How do i become a trusted member? im trying to sell my 133 for rsgp, but i'm having now luck.

 

I wouldn't even bother checking it the info is correct or using an mm/omm. Even if the info is correct it doesn't stop the original owner stealing the account back.

Use a trusted seller, they are not hard to find. Don't go for a shabby 30 post guy because he sells at a lower price...

 

only buy from trusted sellers like sythe or other trusted website but still be aware that he gives you all info including old password

 

It all comes to finding the right person from thousands.
Take time and choose carefully.

 

In my personal opinion ALWAYS use an OMM. Ya it cost but always worth it.

 

OMM/MM won't help you getting your money back if the seller steal the account back. So best thing to do is just buy from very trusted sellers.
And don't buy an account for 50m that is 138..To good to be true offers are always a scam.

Yeah, make sure the person is trusted. Try a recovery test, just so you know all the info is correct.

 

Unfortunately, you cannot avoid this. Even moderators can recover accounts, as long as their I.P shows up on the activity logs loads. Even if you claim that the account owned moved house, as soon as that original I.P submits a claim, you're fucked.

 

Most Important thing is to buy off trusted users. He seller also musnt be scared to give every single information and especially when buying expensive accounts a recovery check IS neccessary. Change E-Mail also. It would be better if the account had NO recoveries set, if it has be sure to change them ASAP. Use a OMM.

 

There are no tips... all accounts can be recovered because fagex looks at ip addresses.

 

just buy accounts without any email ever registered, as soon as you register it you can recover anytime via email..
