[Request for Restitution] Clu_ & Sail

Hello Sythe Staff,

I'll start off by explaining why I am here. Yesterday I was reported by a member of the Sythe community for "ban evading", the report can be found here. Consequently I was banned by the market mod Excelont.

The ban I received originally was on my account named Sail, and it was over two years ago. The user who reported me was named Guntrix, and he reported me for scamming him out of an account I had sold him. I never scammed him though, and his report was full of false claims and very well cropped screenshots. After Guntrix informed me the account I sold him a few days prior had been locked I decided to ask him a few questions. One was whether he had botted at all with it, he answered yes. I assumed this was the reason the account was locked. I also considered other possibilities such as the original owner who I bought it from might have attempted to recover it, but I thought it doubtful because I had been using the account for months and everything was fine.

Seeing as the account being locked was 100% his own fault, I told Guntrix there was nothing I could do. He proceeded to flame me and tell me he "hopes I die of cancer tomorrow". Then he opened a Paypal dispute and took his money back. Then to twist the knife he had just shoved into my stomach, he make a false report against me on Sythe and had me banned.

I have made disputes in the past that have gone unnoticed by staff members. All I ask is that you read my story, investigate if you can, and then pardon me. I have done nothing to break the ToS besides attempting to become part of the community once again after being unfairly cast out several years ago.

P.S. Guntrix was banned for what I assume was scamming not long after he made his fake report against me.

 

so it sounds like you evaded your ban and the person you sold the account to lost control of the account. as a seller, you're required to restore access to the account to him or refund him. and you have to pardon for the evasion.
