Briefly explain the trade: I was offering $50 USD for 100m RSGP, agreement had been made and payment was sent as a gift via paypal (I now know never to do this again).
How they scammed: They logged off MSN after confirming payment was sent, and then proceeded to log off Runescape without trading gold to me, went so far as to act ignorant of the transaction in game.
Proof that you were not talking to an impostor: I was speaking with the scammer via the MSN address provided by them in their thread.
