Proof he most likely made the account "Martin 99" as it's now inactive:

As Martin 99 is the one with the IP match, it was the one I was hoping to find more evidence from. When looking closer into this, I noticed that this account went inactive as soon as this account became active:



This is when he starts to put less effort into the accounts, as he knows if he changes his IP before creation and after he wont get caught, another that is now inactive from the same day of creation, just a few days after the one above:



Not only does this just look suspicious from the evidence shown from what I have already posted, but also check the age on every account posted above, they all share the same birth year.

 

I would also like to comment that I believe it would be extremely unlikely to gain 9 referrals in the space of 22 days on any site, no matter how much of a community figure you are on any website.

He joined on the 24th November 2016, which was 58 days ago, soon to be 59, and yet the first 36 days he got 0 referrals, and from then onwards he got 8 in 15 days and then the last one which was yesterday was 9 in 22 days.

 

Lmao, I might actually try that, however in your case they would all be the same day on different IPs, his go inactive when another one becomes active and like you said yourself, having the same birth year on the three that look suspicious in the first place, makes it seem likely to be fake.

 

I'd like to bump this, and also add that he has not gained 1 referral since this was posted.

 

He also liked the original post with no response.

 

not sure what the ban should be here since faking referrals is pretty rare. gave him a 1-week ban for whatever he was trying to do...
