Reporting OAKDICE for continuing to use stolen property.

User Profile: Oakdice

Backstory: My commission staking clan uses a program where you can write bettors names, calculate payouts etc. The opposing clan, Elite, which Oakdice is an Admin for, stole this calculator without any permission, and handed it out to all their ranks.

In December, I contacted them about removing the calculator and it was sorted out. They got their own calculator software made for them (obviously not as good as ours for some of them to continue using mine), and we agreed that they all will stop using our calculator, as shown below. In January, some of them were still using it, including the main man himself, Oakdice.

On 9th January 2016, I MESSAGED OAKDICE HIMSELF on SYTHE, for his clan to remove my calculator:

We agreed that by January 16th, they'd all have it removed:

However, the main man himself still continues to use it!

Obviously, he said this was meant to be sorted in January, but him ignoring this, and continuing to use it, in my opinion, should warrant a ban. He did not get the message the first time, so this time, surely, this should be a ban, he shouldn't even be given time to remove the calculator i.e 24 hours to remove, THIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ON 9TH JANUARY 2016! He is admin for the clan. He is promoting the clan on Sythe.

He stole my software, without permission. He is continuing to use it, going back on his word he gave me in January. I only see 1 outcome for this, doesn't matter who he is, how much he's donated, he stole it.

I was told by the owner of my FC that the calculator was still good to use after your agreement in January 16th, like you said i'm just the admin for the fc so when I told you I would get this sorted, all i did was talk to the owner who told me to stop using it, who then later told me it was fine to use again.

The reason why i blocked the bottom of the screen is because it advertised "stakeof301" fc which would confuse people, and i blocked the other half of the calculator because of the fact that i am not doing commission staking and that im doing 55x2, so the other half which converted 5% had no use and would confuse people thinking their payout was 5% less and not the full 2x payment. If i was trying to hide the fact that i was hiding the calculator from you, i would not be as stupid as to show it on stream....

Banning me on Sythe because of this, is nothing more then spite and not your way of trying to resolve the issue, as i was under the impression this was still ok to use. This is why i told you to sue if this really bothered you, because that way you can get punishment and compensation from the person who stole it, as i was told this was ok to use, so Banning me because of this is unfair in my opinion.

Did you contact me to ask me if it was okay, after we had our conversation on Sythe and agreed that by the 16th you should have it removed? No.

You are taking the blame away from yourself, and not to mention you yourself are the Admin of the clan.

You are full of lies and are trying to find ways to get out of the mess you are in now, which you yourself caused due to your ignorance, and ''think you can do anything because you're oakdice'' attitude!

You being an admin for the FC just proved mine and SR's point. You are an administrator for the clan, you're responsible for advertisement ergo this is 100% you're responsibility. Being "just the admin" in a clan is a lot different than being a rank. I know you're not advertising for free so it's safe to assume you have ownership/equity in the business. I think you're just playing this card because Jam3s isn't on Sythe so there's nowhere for the blame to be pointed. The bottom line is you stole property from SR and have ALREADY been warned to tell your ranks to delete the calc but it appears you just don't care and continue to use the software despite the warning.

I wouldn't take down the video, as im not denying using your calculator, but Alot of people use this calculator not just including myself and as i stated i was told that it was fine to use after the agreement you guys had. I do use sythe but im not the root of the problem nor was i the one who "stole" the calculator. And can i ask how this calulator was stolen? Because this was probably a case of one of your ranks leaving the fc, coming to elite and sharing it.

 

Does it matter how it was stolen? Does that give you a right to use it, after being TOLD it was stolen from us and you had no right to use it?
Nope, you're Oakdice, so nothing matters for you, right?

FYI; I have no idea, your ranks suddenly started using it, so maybe an ex-rank, maybe stolen from our TeamSpeak somehow, who knows?

Regardless of the reason:

- You were told it was stolen on 9th January 2016.
- You knew it was stolen, yet carry on using it, after being warned not to.
- You had till 16th January to get rid of it and all ranks in your clan to get rid of it.
- You ignored this and carry on using it at your own will.
- You are trying to find more ways to get out of the situation you're in.

Before you go, since your partitioning this program as your own copyright claim, are you able to PM me the code and proof that you actually made this? and did not just slap your name at the bottom of this said calculator claiming is yours???

 

You're fighting something that you cannot win. I'm in awe. The bottom left of the calculator has MY CLAN NAME ON IT. Are you actually serious? I'm honestly, laughing right now. Lmfao. The calculator is ours, not yours. Everything thats coming out of your mouth is literally trash right now, wasting my time in even replying.

I'll PM an Admin or Moderator if more proof is needed, but how about you get Dave, the Sythe Admin here, who also has the calculator which I gave him about 2 years ago? Yea, lets do that!

 

Ok if i get banned its what i deserve, i made another critical mistake of not confirming with your after i guess. Its just frustrating that your intentions on the ban is spite and not to solve the real issue.

Don't play the sympathy card now, LOL, after finding any way you can to try to argue your case and failing. You had this chance on January 9th 2016 to solve the issue, clearly shown with evidence on my original post.

Yet again, trying to conjure up a way to get out of this. It isn't a mistake, its your ignorance. You think you can do anything you want and get away with it. Sorry, it is what it is, solid proof is provided.

- You are the admin of the clan.
- You are promoting their clan on sythe.
- You are 100% responsible, you knew this, I told you on 9th January 2016 that by having the thread you are 100% responsible, and you told me, 'oh thanks, i never knew!' But obviously, you seem to have 'forgotten' this, and are taking the blame away from yourself when you are the main guy involved and responsible for everything thats taken place. You were the one using it.

And in reference to your post below as I can't be bothered to post again, if you don't have the power to stop your own ranks from using the stolen calculator, I'd say you are a very poor leader/admin. You should have control of your own ranks. Pathetic excuse, every time.

This is about me using the program despite you warning me, which is a valid reason to be upset and file this ban on me but I don't have the power to stop other ranks from using it.

 

Oakdice, can you stop using the calculator now, and in the future take more onus in making sure you're able to use it - especially since SR stated you aren't, and it's his property. I understand the owner of your FC said it was fine, and thus I'm simply telling you to stop.

I'm on Sellerman's side, Oakdice has to stop using the calculator now but should not be punished, if he continues to use it after this report, he'll be banned.

 

@Oakdice we are now telling you to stop using this calculator. If you stop now you wont be punished. Continued use of this calculator after this report will lead to a ban.
