dextromethorphan or DXM is one of the most wonderful drugs in the whole world. i have found the meaning of life, learned what happens after death, talked with god himself, and found ways of thinking about things that i would have never found without it.

DXM is a OTC cough suppressant that works really well. DXM replaced codiene somewhere around the 1970's. when used at recommended doses, it hs no pschoactive effects but if you use it over 2mg/kg up to 20mg/kg you can explore your whole brain and unlock secrets to the world.

DXM gets a bad rep for being a drug that kids go to when they can't get their buds or run out of booze. people also discriminate against it because it tastes nasty or you have to pop a bunch of pills. and lastly DXM gets a bad rep because of little ignorant bitches who didn't do their research and used triple c's (coricidin cough & cold) to get high and died. when used correctly, he worst that can happen is a little tummy ache.

DXM is getting pretty popular out where i live and i've seen numerous posts on sythe about people wanting to or havin done already trying dxm. i just want to make sure people do it right.

Here Is What You Should Do

1. do your research.
- here are some information on DXM and i suggest your read it all so you know what you're getting yourself in to.

2. BUY (don't fuckin' steal it! this is how dxm will be taken off the shelves) your syrups. (i recommend syrups because you can extract the chemical and bypass having to swallow a million pills or guzzle down nasty syrups.

here is what to do from here if you don't want to spend the hour to extract it:

1. if you are popping gel caps or pills, take them with some good tasting food because the taste of the pills is actually pretty bad too. take about 8-10 at a time washing them down with some OJ or gatorade. if you're drinking the syrup use the toothpaste method:

1. brush the whole mouth with toothpaste thoroughly.

2. plug your nose. even the smell is too much for people and plugging your nose helps to reduce the taste.

3. drink as much as you can. (i can do about 3/4- full bottle but for a first timer i suggest taking it slow)

4. without unplugging your nose, take a big swish of cold water. keep your nose plugged!

5. brush your teeth again without unplugging your nose.

2. while waiting for the medicine to kick in, especially if you're doing a 3rd - 4th plateau trip, go to your room and relax. play some rs, listen to music and get yourself in a good mindset.

3. after about 45 minutes, depending on how much you took, you start to feel some effects. at this point, if you're doing a 3rd - 4th plateau trip, go to your room and lay down, turn off the lights, put on some GOOD music (not some shitty rap or pop. i suggest the mars volta). i like to watch animated and colorful youtube videos. if you plan to do this, make a youtube playlist in advance because you won't be able to type searches when you're fully high. if you want to close your eyes and experience some of the visuals, by all means, do it. this is also the best way to have an OOB out of body experience.
if you're doing a 1st - 2nd plat trip you don't really have to lay down. in fact most people find moving around while on 1st or 2nd plat very enjoyable. dancing, rolling around and moving your limbs can be fun. but it's easy to over exert yourself on dxm so be careful, if you start to sweat profusely you should take a break and get some water. also, i've found that taking a shower or bath is very fun, the water feels great. i imagine swimming would be fun too but idk if that's very safe.

4. congratz you have gotten high off dxm.

here is the preferred way to buse dxm:

1. Buy/gather supplies.
Chemicals
- Any cough syrup that only includes DXM HBr or DXM HBr/Guaf
- Clear ammonia
- Lighter fluid (naphtha based only) If you put a small drop on a glass surface and burn it. If there is any residue, find a different kind.
Safety Gear
- Sweat shirt or long sleeve shirt that doesn't have baggy sleaves
- Safety goggles or at least some kind of eye prtection
- Rubber gloves
- Mask or something that prevents you from breathing in the toxic and smelly fumes
Misc.
- Pyrex or glass baking pan (prefferably a rectangular one)
- Heat gun or blow dryer
- Scissors
- (2) Gallon sized ziploc bags
- Straight razor
- (5) nails and hammer
- Mirror or glass surface
- Funnel
- Milk jug or 2 liter bottle

2. Suit up. Better to be safe than sorry.
- Put on gloves, put on sweatshirt/ long sleeve, duct tape the sleeves, if the shirt has a hood; put it up, put on eye protection and mask. If you don't have goggles; at least use glasses (prefferable not shaded so you can see better). If you don't have a mask; at least use a baclava or bandana.

3. Pour the cough syrup into a ziploc bag.

4. Using a funnel, pour ammonia into all of the bottles that you used to get the exact, or close to exact, ratio of syrup to ammonia.

5. Pour the ammonia into the ziploc bag.

6. Using a funnel, pour lighter fluid into the bag until you have roughly 10-20% of how much syrup you used. If you use a tad bit more, don't worry it just makes it take longer to evaporate in the final stages.

7. Put the bag containing the mixture into the other bag and seal tightly. If you want, you can duct tape the seal.

8. Shake the mixture for about 4-5 minutes. You can do more but, more than 10 minutes is just over-kill. The molecules need to touch the ammonia and then the naptha.

9. Hang the bag on the wall with one of the points directing down so the bag is in a diamond shape. Use duct tape and your nails to keep it up. It'd be a shame for all that red stuff to stain your floor. And trust me... it will.

10. Wait about 10-15 minutes but check up on the mixture every 2-3 minutes.
- After the mixture has been sitting for a while, you should see a clear layer and a bottom red layer.

11. Snip off a little bit of the bottom corner off and let the red mixture drain into the milk jug or 2 liter bottle.

12. When all of the bottom layer has drained out pinch the hole to prevent the clear liquid from leaving.

13. Replace the milk jug or 2 liter bottle with the glass pan an let the clear liquid drain out on to it.

14. On the lowest heat setting and lowest speed setting, evaporate the liquid and keep the liquid away from the corners.

15. After 5-10 minutes, you should start to see white crystals forming in the pan. This is good. This is what you're looking for.

16. When all of the liquid is evaporated, scrape the crystals out on to a glass or mirror surface.

once you have your freebase DXM here's the best ways to ingest it:

The Fruit Roll-up Method
take a fruit roll up and lay it out flat. put the powder in the middle of the roll up and roll itt into a ball. now swallow the ball. the candy is digested quickly and then the DXM starts to kick in. can't taste it at all. The only downside is that if you have a big ball of candy, it is hard to swallow.

The DXM Smoothie
if you are doing a smaller dose this works well. you can taste the bitter DXM a little but it still tatses like a smoothie. Take a bag of mixed frozen fruits (my faves are raspberries, black berries and blue berries together).Pour about halfway up the blender. then pour in your DXM. do it in this order or you will lose some of it in the bottom of the blender. i use the blender called "The Magic Bullet" because you don waste any smoothie. next put in your faveorite yogurt. then add milk up to the top of the fruit or a little higher for a smoother smoothie. blend it. if it's too thick, add a little more milk. now drink up and it kicks in very fast. much faster than syrup and the Fruit Roll Up Method. it just tastes a little bitter but I think that's really just your mind playing tricks. if you tell yourself the smoothie tastes like a smoothie, it does.

Make Your Own Pills
go to your local pharmacy, it's better if it's in a more health-food oriented store because you're just looking for capsules that you can take apart. It shouldn't cost you more than $5.00 for about 100 of them. Open up the capsules and empty them out. then pour the freebase dxm into the empty capsules and take them.

here's some tips from an experienced dexer (me!):
- start off doing no more than a 2nd plat trip
- if you start to have an upset stomach and feel like getting sick, eat a slice of bread and drink some water. it helps a lot. it's kin of common for people to get sick their first time. smoking weed also helps the nausea
- know the difference between a bad trip and needing to go to the hospital.
- if you're doing a higher dose but have had a bad trip in the past, use a trip setter. a good one. he should know what he's doing and should be someone who stays calm.
- smoking some weed makes the trip much more intense.
- don't fucking drive.
- DON'T DO TRIPLE FUCKING C'S!!!!!
- don't steal the dxm. if you're too young to buy it, you prly sholdn't be doing it anyways. but if you really want to, ask someone old enough to buy it for you get it.
- don't steal it from your parents me cabinet, it's no good when parents catch kids doing drugs.
- be smart. it's a drug that requires a lot of respect.
