Report a Ban Evader section?

Support, would keep the RaS more organized.

 

I'd say support, as it would be a section for staff to go in and quickly check over the threads for potential vaders, it would also take traffic away from the "report a scammer" forum so it each has it's separate parts.

I don't think this is nescesary as you don't need sufficient proof to get a ban evader banned like you do in a scam report.

 

I think more parameters more specification more organization and that means more easily reports more easily proves more accurately bans

It's only a good idea if moderators actually start doing them.

 

I'd like to see a function that allows a user to flag another user as a suspected vader, and have it automatically check for matching emails and IPs, and post a post in the SL for us to review... It'd be a lot less to sift through as compared to RaS RaSP AND Report a Vader.

 

This is a good idea too, although I think it would take some time to implement.

 

I agree with this idea.. more than you will know.

 

I support the idea, I like seeing forums neat and tidy so this update would be awesome if it was implemented, would make mods that go through the report a scammer sections jobs a lot easier too imo.

1. It wouldn't be less work, it'd just be the "report a ban evader" section in a different forum. It works the same if we just have users check for e-mail matches and post proof.

2. If we implemented a flagging system, people would be flagging just about every new user, making even more work.

But exact matching IPs and matching e-mails aren't the only way we catch ban evaders, so making it automated to the extent he suggested would be tossing away a handful of valid reports where no IPs and no e-mails are identical.

 

True, so I guess no support for Mohtasa's idea.

 

My thoughts too after thinking about it, but you know how a lot of scam reports are incomplete when left up to the users to post proof... if it were automatic, it would be more uniform and easier to sift through

I have been using IRC/Scammer section to find IP checks. or perhaps just a sub forum off the RASC section?
