[Denied] $750 & $1000 donor perks suggestion.

I was looking at a recent post about someone asking is it worth donating $1000 to the site and one of the answers was basically aside from supporting the site financially there’s basically no additional perks.

This made me think why isn’t there additional perks for $750 donors & $1000 donors ?

I’m not sure what additional perks would be fitting maybe post suggestions / thoughts below ?

I did see an approved suggestion of being able to bump all your threads at once? Maybe that could be a perk for a $750 donor?

Maybe one could be the ability to bump threads every 3 hours instead of every 4?

I don’t know I’m just spit balling but I just think that if you allow people to donate that amount then surely there should be additional perks that come with it. I think the extra perks would be an extra incentive for those who go above and beyond.

Please feel free to post ideas , thoughts or suggestions for this below.

I didn't know that existed. In the user centre there's no mention of it.

 

at 300$ donor you have 300$ donor rank at 1k donor you have 1k$ rank which boost your rep even more


and getting free 100$ in prizeboxes when donating 1k is not that bad 1k donor rank for 900$?

we really shoudnt expect to get anything when we donate to site but we still do get alot.

minirank well i guese you also want it to be tradable which is extra 50-100$ to your pocket?

custom colour on sythe well yeah good idea but dubt it will happen because ppls will confuse them with mods.

 

It's called a donation rank, not a buy cool shit rank.

If you're donating money just to get cool shit, then you really need to consider if it's a donation at all. Sure some perks are cool, but it shouldn't be expected - a donation is your choice.

I feel it's just something people use to add to their thread titles to claim trustworthiness, which shouldn't be allowed IMO.

 

I don't really think the perks need to be there as such, although it would be nice to have something extra.

The $300 mark is really all you want, anything beyond that is because you want to personally donate to help support the website. Even I am going to get the $300 soon, just for the simple fact I both like the perks and I want the better number as much as it helps maintain the website.

 

@Superfluous Just close it. I think what @Zora suggested is for the better “I think it would be much better if CDT/Staff makes a thread where everyone can contribute with their ideas of new perks, and then make a poll to see what should and should not be added.”

Maybe @Techie or someone else could look at it and see if it’s worth adding additional perks after hearing from the community.
