How did the staff let that slide? That's disgusting. Their proof for booting the guy off the account and keeping the guy's gold was what the guy reported to them, which was someone pming the account that they were scammed by it. Then they go ahead and tell him this in the end:



Of course paying him back makes it all right and gets an insta unban. But when someone scams, they need to wait 6 months for a pardon.

If he's telling the truth, then odds are Bogla's staff knew how much gold was left. After all, they changed the password and booted the guy off. But why pay that back when he doesn't have proof of that.

Alright, I'll post it in the Feedback section then. Normally we aren't allowed to discuss bans and I kept it here, even though the ban was reversed. I'll see if I can get a serious answer from staff.

Op, your last point is speculation. You can say they wanted to clear their name asap, and since the amount claimed was so low, paying it is a reasonable compromise. I don't think a twc is warranted either.

 

I really don't think that the person renting the account would have been so content with the outcome; based on pure principal, if OP is right.

On another note, I think "Eva" could have been a bit more professional about how they went about it. Other than that, I really think this is an issue that can just be buried.

Sure, it's speculation. Read that, and then you'll question yourself "If they had more than enough proof as they claimed, why did they end up refunding him?". It sounds to me like if they can get away with free gold, they will. Now top that with how they treated that innocent customer and how they probably knew how much gold the account had but never chose to include that.

Just saying, I rented their acc once and I had ~150m 07 on their in the invent as I was staking, one if their workers accidentally changed the pw to the wrong acc which booted me off, they could have easily taken the 150m and I would have 0 proof against them. But they are better then that and nothing was touched. They were probably in a bad mood because of what happened to their previous accs, and were more suspicious then usual. So OP, what you are saying is that they should get banned for 6 months because of a simple mistake?

He's assuming she was punished somehow, but he is seeing no publicly visible proof. He could be assuming it's a few days unpaid leave or something like that.
