Does no e-mail set on an account make it impossible for Original Owner to recover the account?

I’m looking to buy an OSRS account.

Does having no e-mail set on an account make it impossible for Original Owner to recover the account?

Does having “no e-mail set” make a difference in whether or not it’s possible for the OO to recover the account?

 

Original owner can still recover the account back, Just because there is no email set doesn't mean they can't get it back. Always assume the OO can get it back.

 

As others have said, OO can recover. I'd have someone train my own account vs ever buying an account.

 

If you're going to buy an account, your first and obvious step is to vet the seller. Do everything possible & take every precaution to ensure they are trustworthy.

I personally prefer an account to have a registered email that matches the login email. From what I've seen, having that "original email" access strengthens your claim to the account if something were to happen. Good luck!

 

OO can always recover the acc even if he gave u email reg or recover details or wat ever.

 

Unfortunately, the OO can always recover no matter what they say. Always use caution when purchasing an account. It’s advise to not put extreme wealth immediately on to the account as well.

 

If you don't trust him or her, don't buy.

 

Having an email registered to the account doesn’t make a difference with recovering an account.
