Removing Registered Email Address

I used to follow this thread in the account sales sub forum:

As you can see the old email change verification had an Unsubscribe Code.


The new one however does not..


It doesn't seem to work anymore but maybe I'm doing something wrong, does any have a new method of removing an unknown address? I just recovered my hacked account and only have a while until the hacker realizes it and manually recovers the account via registered email.

 

you can't remove email addresses anymore.
they made it that way on purpose.

you can only transfer them now.

How do you remove an exsisting email on a runescape account then?

 

Get permission from the existing email address that is registered to the account, that's the only way I know of.

 

Yeah you can't do it anymore, I've seen a fair few threads saying " Couldn't remove email " ect but you can just transfer it (the sellers current email to the buyers) and then remove it but if it's unknown I'm not sure what to do.

This has been around for a little while now.
